If you test positive for COVID-19, those who live with you, and their close contacts will need to isolate from the community to help stop the spread of the virus. Most people are likely to have a mild to moderate illness and will be fine to recover at home.

Here’s some simple advice on how to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in your home.

You can find more information about isolating at home and what to expect on our website: https://www.health.govt.nz/.../cov.../advice-people-covid-19

After 10 years of delivering services at Inspire Health & Fitness Centre to our community, the Inspire Whanganui Trust will be closing the Fitness Centre on Friday 3 December 2021.

Regrettably we have succumbed to the impacts of COVID-19 as have many of our small local businesses.

The impacts of COVID have affected our membership and community in a variety of ways impacting the financial viability of the Inspire Health & Fitness Centre.

The recent traffic light system and the uncertainty of COVID-19 has contributed in making our regrettable decision to close the Fitness Centre to ensure our valued staff, whānau, members and wider community remain safe.

We want to acknowledge the amazing contribution and support of staff and members since establishment of the Inspire Health & Fitness Centre on 1st August 2011.

We apologise for the short notice and understand that this may cause uncertainty for some at a time when there is already enough uncertainty ahead of us all.

Over the next few weeks, management will be in contact with members in regards to cancellation of memberships and direct debit payments, refunds and progressing other business priorities required in the closure of the Fitness Centre.

Current therapy businesses operating from the Inspire complex will continue as usual.

Thank you for your support and understanding at this time.

Be kind and keep safe.
