A bee doesn’t sting to attack, but to protect itself or its hive. When it does, its barbed stinger can become stuck in the skin, releasing venom that causes pain, redness, and swelling as the body reacts. 🐝

For some people with a bee sting allergy, the immune system can overreact, making the reaction much more serious.

It’s a reminder that even a bee’s defence is part of its role in nature — small, but vital.
