To journey through pain is an interesting ‘idea’ for some. How do we let go of the idea and begin to practice, to nurture and unravel the depths our soul craves to show as authentic being and intuitive intellect?
To journey inwards and through the sensations of our bodily container may be approached in a variety of ways and have many levels of understandings, depending on our perception and practices.
Our perceptions are limited. To be aware of this concept, opens our mind to the idea of learning as life long. Where a quick fix usually means a temporary fix or a cover up that does not sustain ways of living in a healthy way that supports the nervous system to keep the systems in good working order.
Our physical practice has a focus on ‘CULTIVATING THE BODILY CONTAINER’ to grow AWARENESS with the internal and external body.
Offering a starting point where we build a FOUNDATIONAL support, grounding and reconnecting the mind-body. Leading learning about our own unique body tendencies and habits.
Building STABILITY of the bodily container with understanding STRENGTH and FLEXIBILITY in relation to the body-mind.
LETTING GO in relationship to ACTION and the relationship of. Where action and letting go opens SPACE for EMOTIONS to rise up to the surface, if one so happens to FEEL the need to follow that and dive deeper into unravelling what is holding one back from authentic being.
Personally, the yoga practice has provided tools to bring the body to FEEL more at ease. To engage the parasympathetic nervous system for rest and digest. To FEEL more at HOME inside and express the being of own truth and authenticity.
Over the years, personally, I have worked on weaknesses in my body that have strengthened and healed. I had knee issues since a child, wrist weaknesses and pains, lower back compression and pain, upper back and neck issues, digestion and facial skin issues, PMS and menstrual problems. Not to mention the mental and emotional disturbances, low stress tolerance, low self esteem and confidence to be myself and feel more content.
Honestly, yoga has only been one step (HUGE) towards overal wellbeing.
WELLBEING is a HOLISTIC approach. Yoga has provided the tool of catching AWARENESS.
