Good morning all,

I am looking at starting a fast walking and/or running group around the Milldale area this month.

This would be more of a social group for keeping fit and meeting new people.

I myself am a runner and always see other runners or people walking at a good pace around the area.

Possibly meeting up by the shops and going from there once or twice a week and finishing with a good coffee!

Hi everyone,

My husband owns Fitness Trainers, and we’ve recently started offering small-group training from our home gym here in Milldale. Through this style of training — along with lots of 1:1 sessions with David — I’ve now lost 19.5 kg.

I won’t share my whole backstory here, but I wanted to encourage anyone who feels weighed down (literally or emotionally) and not quite like the best version of themselves. Below are my photos:
• Before at 58 kg
• My heaviest at 89 kg
• Now at 69 kg

I still have 6–7 kg to go, and I’ll be relying on David’s nutritional guidance and fitness support to get there.

For many people, carrying extra weight long-term is linked to trauma of some kind. Trauma doesn’t have to be something big or dramatic — even small experiences can have a lasting impact. That’s why “motivation” and “willpower” alone often don’t work. When you address the underlying reasons, the weight tends to shift more naturally.
