Some of you might have noticed that I've been working longer hours and Saturdays lately, and that's because me & Rach have had some exciting news about our adoption.

It's been a long road for us, 8 years, and we are so excited to meet our son in a few weeks time.

Unfortunately there's been some changes in adoption laws since we started and we now have to stay over there longer than we had previously planned for (hence the overtime). The wonderful world of pillow 😴
Sleep is forever coming up in clinic with people asking how to prevent neck pain - and for good reason! Without sleep, we can't heal. Plus a restless night is intolerable, especially for nights on end.

This is a brief video discussing the pitfalls of pillows. It's less about material and more about alignment.
Try not to have your head too far forward or bent too much. After 6 up to you with what you find most comfortable.

This is why I love what I do! Justine came in with foot pain that had been hanging around for a month - and just 4 weeks to go before her first ultra marathon 😬

After 2 rounds of Shockwave Therapy, some targeted osteopathic exercises, and a quick referral to the legends at she smashed her first 50KM, placing 19th out of 60! 🏃‍♀️🔥

Down side of running a clinic is Rach volunteers me to work weekends now😭 Perk is I forget how much I enjoy working with sports teams!
Fantastic weekend out for NRL nationals, coastline did amazing coming second 👏 sadly just pipped out by te tai tokerau

🦶 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 & 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿

Finally remembered to take photos 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 treatment instead of cursing myself afterwards that it would’ve made a great post 😂

This client came in with 18 years of ongoing ankle pain - seen multiple therapists, tried all the things, and was told surgery (ankle fusion 😬) was the only option left.

We always consider that a last resort. Always.

She was struggling with pain at the front of her ankle and couldn’t properly lift her foot (aka dorsiflexion). At the start, she could only get her knee 2.5cm past her toes - after one session of shockwave therapy?
➡️ 𝟱.𝟱𝗖𝗠. That’s more than double the movement, and with way less pain!

Super exciting results - and this is exactly why shockwave is my go-to for stubborn, long-term injuries. Quick change, solid outcomes.
