A little bit of exciting news 🥰
I recently travelled to the beautiful Bay of Plenty to complete the Reiki Master Degree 🙏

I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful Reiki Master Teacher Kevin Reed in Tauranga. Kevin has guided me through every level of Reiki and has now cut me free to teach 🤩🙏

Look out for dates as I plan Level 1 classes to begin in the new year
Classes will be once a week over six weeks - I will hold them in the evenings and you can pay as you go 🤗

Imagine the healing and relaxtion Reiki will bring to yourself and your family
When we heal ourselves we heal generations - be the change 🙏🙏

I’m having lots of fun designing Certificates and just have to share this - beautiful stamp - made in Japan with your name in Japanese !!!!

It came beautifully packaged with a hand towel gift and a beautiful Japanese crane decoration (it will be on my Christmas tree) so much care and love - thank you Kanji Hanko 🙏

On reflection I think that healing and feeling empathy for animals is in all of us. When we drop into the healing energies with intention the results are fantastic 🥰🙏

Moments like these remind us how deeply connected we all are, and how living the Reiki precept, “Be kind to every living thing” helps that connection flourish.

It also brought to mind a story from Issue 107 of The Reiki News, “This Wild Kingfisher’s Grandparent” by Michael Salmon, a moving reflection on compassion, intuition, and the quiet energy that passes between beings.

Can you remember a time when you created one of your best. Maybe it was a sketch, something you baked, a dance, your best workout. Whatever it was think about how connected, peaceful and in tune you felt? Like it was meant to be. Not forced. It just was. Reiki helps us to “drop into” this space , we consciously enhance the energy of our creativity 🙏🙏

In “Reiki, Creativity, and Healing,” author Debi Barr shares how healing doesn’t only happen on the treatment table, it can also emerge through painting, writing, movement, and creative expression. After grief caused her to abandon art, Reiki helped her remember who she truly was and gently reopened the doorway to creativity as a form of spiritual healing and nervous system restoration.

Debi explains that when we invite Reiki into creative practices, our canvas, page, or song becomes a space of release, reflection, and transformation. She prepares her creative time the same way she would a Reiki session, by setting intention, drawing symbols, and allowing the energy to guide her. Over time, this became a living, soul-centered practice rather than just “making art.”

She reminds us that you don’t have to be an “artist” to allow Reiki to flow through creativity. Whether cooking, journaling, dancing, intuitive color play, or even blessing a written page with symbols can open a channel for emotional release, clarity, and healing.

✅ Invite Reiki into your creative space with intention or symbols
✅ Paint or write while tuning into a single Reiki symbol
✅ Reiki journal by placing your hands on the page and asking, “What does my soul need to express today?”
✅ Use creative expression after a session to help process energy
