Sample bars! If you've been past my stall this weekend you might have spotted the newest addition to the SANOlifestyle range.

These little guys are a great way to try out something new. I'll have them available tomorrow at the Monday Market at Kaurihohore and on the website later in the week. So far the feedback has been great. I'm open to suggestions too so let me know if you'd like to see your favorite soap in a sample size.

Real talk time. I've been thinking about this (and honestly avoiding doing it) for ages and the time has finally come to get it happening. I need to raise my prices.

Ingredients costs have jumped up massively in the last few years (looking at you olive oil and cocoa butter 👀) and I want to keep bringing you the same quality of beautiful products you love. So now is the time for an increase.

I am going to raise my market prices to reflect the website and retailer price of $12 a bar. This will make every bar the same price no matter the outlet.

I love and appreciate all my faithful customers who have supported my small business over the years and this decision has been made so I can continue making great soaps in a way that is sustainable for my wallet as well as our planet.

I'll be selling at the old price for the Kauri market on 27th because I know a lots of my regular customer there don't have social media to see this post and I really don't want to spring an increase on anyone.

I'm going to leave it there as I'm getting close to waffling on (the worst type of waffle!)

SANOlifestyle natural and artisan soaps are lovingly handcrafted in Northland, New Zealand.

We use natural, raw and organic ingredients. Each soap is cruelty free, palm oil free, with no artificial and synthetic colours and fragrances. Instead our soaps are generously packed with skin loving ingredients from Mother's Nature bounteous pantry - high quality plant oils, butters, natural clays, herbs, spices and pure essential oils.

SANOlifestyle is committed to be environmentally responsible - all packaging is 100% plastic free, reusable, recyclable or compostable.

SANOlifestyle soaps are made in small batches using both, the hot and the cold process methods. They are then cured in the open air for a minimum of four weeks resulting harder and longer lasting soaps for you to enjoy!

I make soaps with high content of soft (liquid) oils as coconut oil doesn't suit my skin. My soaps are gentle and moisturizing with high superfatting ratio up to 10%. All soaps are formulated to be multipurpose and are suitable for face, body and hair. With super speedy and busy life I wanted to create products to suit modern lifestyle where we often don't have ME time. Having just one natural product on hand, we can feel good about using it as it is beneficial for us and not harmful for environment. My soaps are bare, no packaging...just wrapped in cigar band which includes ingredients on the back . And one soap bar replaces 3 PLASTIC bottles of standard, store bough shampoo, body wash and conditioner!!!

Handcrafted soap needs more care and attention than its commercial counterpart. As it is made of the natural oils, it needs to be well drained after using. Avoid the soap touching a flat, wet surface - it will become soggy and won't last as long as it should. Store your soap (if not using) somewhere dry - clothes draws and linen cupboards are perfect places.

Soap sizes: all bars are min 120g, shampoo bars are min 80g.
