It's Easter weekend which means we are at the end of the market season! I'm going out with a bang this Saturday with TWO events. Kingfisher Leather NZ will have SANOlifestyle soaps at The Artisans Market in town and I will be at the Waipu Easter carnival.

I'll still have the odd event over winter but this is your last chance to catch me out and about for a while. See you there Northland!

Kingfisher Leather NZ and I are hitting the road this weekend for ArtBeat in Dargaville! It's a massive day of creativity, performance and giving making a go, with interactive activities for the whole family. These colourful confetti bars will be making their debut too. See you there Dargaville!

We have just had a few spaces open up for this weekend's soap course!
Learn the basics of cold process soap making, from how to safely handle lye to what ingredients make a good bar. And go home at the end of the class with your own load of soap.
The class 9am to 12pm, Saturday the 14th in Whangarei. Book by emailing Shirley at CEW , or message me and I can send you details.

Soapmaking courses are back for 2026!
We are running a beginners class and a more complex one exploring scents and colors.

SOAP MAKING - BEGINNERS
Learn the basics of soap making in this practical hands-on workshop. Using the Cold Process method and oils that may be in your pan-try you will produce a mild soap, that will be gentle on your skin yet will still clean the grubbiest of hands. All ingredients provided.
Tutored by local soap maker: Chloe King
Book early as class fills quickly and this is the only class remaining for 2025!

I've built up quite the stockpile of offcuts and scraps in the last few months, so its time to have some fun and make some eco range soaps!

This weekend I'm heading south and hitting the coast at the Mangawhai Tavern Market

Got loads of these sweet little bars of Mint and Patchouli soap. Love a good swirl!

Hikurangi Auto Madness is in full swing! There is an unbelievable array of vehicles and loads of stall in the market section too. Plenty to see and do for the whole family. On till 2pm at Hikurangi sorts grounds

I've be a busy bee stamp stamp stamping a few new batches of Eucalyptus and Mint Scrub bars today. I'm working on restocking the eco range soaps, all made from my offcuts, rejects and scraps. Nothing goes to waste here! This is one of the regular bars, but I've been playing around with some new things too, so keep an eye out for those coming up!

I'm straying from my usual stomping ground this weekend! I will be at the Hikurangi Auto madness event on Saturday, and the Mangakahia Summer Festival on Sunday instead.
Both the The Artisans Market and Tutukaka Markets are on this weekend. You'll not find me in my usual spots at these events, but I'll be back with all your favorite soaps for the next events, so don't panic!

Come on down to the town basin and see me at the The Artisans Market , then wander down to Reyburn House - Art Gallery & Shop for The Whangārei Crafts Market There will be so many crafts by wonderful local artisans to see, get out and support both events!
