A mid week reminder..
The lotus flower grows through the mud before it reaches the surface and blooms.
It doesn’t avoid the murky water… it rises through it.
I often think this is a beautiful reminder for our own health and wellbeing. Sometimes life feels heavy, stressful, or emotionally muddy. We can hold tension in the body, feel overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. But even in those moments, there is still growth happening beneath the surface.
Taking time for yourself — whether it’s massage, stillness, or simply slowing down — can help you move through that “mud.” Gently releasing what you’ve been holding, creating space, and allowing yourself to rise a little lighter.
You don’t have to be fully “in bloom” all the time.
Growth is still happening, even in the messy parts.
