MediMap System Outage
This notice is to advise that there are currently no additional updates regarding the ongoing
MediMap system outage.
*️⃣Background
On Sunday, 22 February 2026, MediMap detected unauthorised activity within its system,
which resulted in certain resident demographic details such as name, date of birth,
prescriber information, or location of care being incorrectly altered. As a safety measure,
MediMap transitioned to maintenance mode while a thorough investigation and secure
restoration process is undertaken.
*️⃣Current Situation
During this period, our primary focus remains on delivering safe, high-quality care. All
necessary arrangements have been made to manage medication administration through a
paper-based recording system. We continue to monitor developments closely and will
promptly communicate any updates that may impact you or your loved ones. Additionally,
we are exploring alternative electronic medication management systems to ensure ongoing quality service.
Although these circumstances present challenges, our robust processes are designed to maintain minimal to no disruption of services.
