✨ **Happy Father’s Day** ✨
Today we celebrate our dads, but I also want to take a moment to send love to all the fathers in heaven 🤍

When I was 19, my dad passed away doing something he loved, diving for kaimoana for my engagement party. Just four days after my 19th birthday, I felt uneasy all day. I even called my Nana (my dad’s mum) thinking something might be wrong with her, but she reassured me she was fine. Hours later, everything changed.

I’ll never forget the call, the hospital, the waiting, the shock of hearing what had happened. My little brother, just 12 at the time, was helicoptered to hospital after being on the boat with Dad, my fiancé, and my uncle. That day changed our lives forever. Watching my mum, my brother, and my Nana go through that loss alongside me was heartbreaking.

So today, I honor my dad, and all the beautiful fathers who are no longer here with us. You are forever loved, forever missed, and always in our hearts. 💫

Happy Father’s Day in heaven, Dad. 💙
