Update for our Alternative Care Northland's Whaunu 🐾 Aroha had her x-ray today which shows she has a small fracture to her left hind leg 🐾 she will be in a split for the next 7 days then needs to wear a brace for the following 3months otherwise she will require a specialist operation 😉 we thank everyone for all the phonecalls and messages asking about her progress (as per photos she is not impressed)

Please send Good Vibes our way as we've had abit of bad luck with our latest ball play 🐾 Aroha has potentially slipped her knee cap or busted her L)arcuate ligament or as the vet suggested 🤔 both - she has been on anti-inflammatories for a week with no signs of improvement 😓 she is booked for x-ray and possible operation on Tuesday 🥰 Aroha house Daystay clients will have to be paused ATM (photo of Aroha at the vets last Mon).

I've finished my Move Your Butt for Bowel Cancer challenge!

Throughout February, I walked 162km to fight bowel cancer and save Kiwi lives.

Because every month, 253 Kiwis are diagnosed with bowel cancer, and 100 people lose their lives to this terrible disease.

So far, I've raised $1067.52 for Bowel Cancer NZ to reduce the impact of bowel cancer across New Zealand.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who made a donation to support my challenge and help stop bowel cancer taking the people we love.

FuNdaY Friday was about being outdoors and celebrating the completed challenge for Bowel Cancer as both targets of Km 👣 & 💰have been reached 💜🧡💜 and yes there was ice-creams for all 🍦🥰

This month, I’m taking part in Move Your Butt for Bowel Cancer to walk 160km to beat bowel cancer and save Kiwi lives. 💪

Every month, 100 Kiwis die from bowel cancer, and 253 people are diagnosed with this awful disease.

So far, I've walked 90km to complete the first week of the challenge... but there's still 3 weeks to go!

I'm taking on this challenge to raise funds for Bowel Cancer New Zealand to raise awareness, support patients and fund research to stop bowel cancer taking the people we love.

So today's walk was not all about counting the steps 🐾👣🐾 but I did complete 4.7km 👏
