When you come in for a massage once a month over a few months, we’re not just chasing short-term relief—we’re actually working together to create longer-lasting change in your body.
At the beginning, the focus is usually on easing pain and tension. You might feel looser, sleep better, and notice some relief—but things can still creep back in between sessions. That’s completely normal. Your body is used to holding those patterns.
As we keep going, your body starts to respond more deeply. The tension doesn’t build up as quickly, movements feel easier, and your nervous system begins to settle. You’re not just getting relief after a massage—you’re starting to feel better between sessions too.
Then, over time, something really shifts.
Once we’ve worked through the main areas of pain and your body isn’t holding that constant tension anymore, we don’t need to focus so much on “fixing.” That’s when we can move into more relaxation-based massage.
And that’s a really nice place to be.
Instead of always chasing tight spots, your sessions become about maintaining how good your body feels, supporting your nervous system, and giving you space to properly switch off. It’s less about problem-solving and more about rest, reset, and overall wellbeing.
So the goal isn’t for you to need deeper or more intense work forever—it’s actually the opposite. We use those early sessions to get things under control, so eventually your body just needs support to stay balanced.
If this feels like something your body is ready for, you’re always welcome to book in when it feels right for you.
