A hectic weekend for the weigh station! After such a bad run of weather our members must have been itching to get out on the water! Congratulations to the 26 anglers that came down to the weigh station with their catches…a club leaderboard shuffling is inbound!

The team on Mad Max is starting off the summer season with a bang with another 3 Yellowfin Tuna landed by Koby today, the heaviest of them going 56.6kg - the heaviest for the season so far...by a small-fry too! 🔥

Our MBGFC members showing how it’s done! 💪🏽

A very successful couple of days for two of our local boats competing in the Extreme Boats Comp hosted here at the club over the weekend!

Congratulations to team No Fuss taking out the overall top sport in the ‘Longest Kingfish’ section with a nice fish landed by junior angler Liam Fussell, as well as a couple of other placings over 3-4 other categories…the only one they missed out on was snapper!

This was more than made up for by the team on Midnight Rider, taking out the snapper section with a nice fish caught by angler Finn Holmes!

Great to see our members stuck in and our local boats at the pointy end! 🏆

The Hamilton fam on board Dougie getting it done this weekend! 💪🏽

Well done to anglers Cody, Beau, Frankie & Ryder all bringing a nice Yellowfin Tuna each into the weigh station yesterday afternoon! Cody’s fish nabbed him the top of the leaderboard for the ‘Heaviest Other’ category of the Longshore Marine No Bait comp yesterday, and a massive effort from both of our junior anglers Frankie & Ryder pulling in their fish, with Ryder’s tuna pulling the scales down more than he would!

That’s a wrap on the Longshore Marine No Bait Tournament for another year! 🐠

Thank you to the 19 anglers on 9 boats that got out there on the water over the last week making this a great comp, and congratulations to our category prize winners taking home a combined $1722 in cash and vouchers thanks to the legends at Longshore Marine!

A special congratulations to our heaviest other category winner Cody Hamilton with his 14.76kg Yellowfin Tuna right at the buzzer!

We would like to say a massive thank you to our incredible spot prize sponsors and congratulations to our lucky anglers taking home a nice hall goodies...make sure to get around these awesome businesses!
