Ever thought about giving football a go… but didn’t know where to start?
Here’s your chance – and you don’t have to do it alone!

We’re inviting mothers and daughters to join us for some fun, free “Come & Try” football sessions – perfect for first-timers or anyone just keen to get active and try something new, together!

Whether you’ve played before or it’s your very first kick of a ball, these sessions are all about having a go in a friendly, relaxed environment. No pressure, no scoreboards – just lots of laughs, movement, and quality time on the field.

The earlier you recognise the signs of stress, the better you’ll be able to manage them.

A general rule of thumb is that a person is under unhealthy stress when their daily functioning and relationships are being impacted.

So, if you're having trouble eating or sleeping, feeling like you're not coping with the small stuff anymore or if your thinking is becoming more negative and intrusive, it could be a sign that it’s time to put in place your own personal wellbeing plan (just like you’d review your stock plan).

🌧 Looks like it’s going to be a wet couple of days in the upper South Island 🌧

The map below from MetService New Zealand outlines the forecast for effected areas, and the likelihood of heavy and extreme rainfall for the next few days.

The worst of the rain is expected to hit the top of the South Island from today, moving up the country and hitting northern areas from later today and into Friday and Saturday.

As always, stay safe out there folks. Put safety first and act quickly if water is rising. 💚
