🌟 It’s time to Meet the Team again! 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Lor, one of our wonderful HCAs — and it’s extra special because it’s also her birthday 🎉

Lor is kind, caring, and quietly confident in everything she does. She may be soft-spoken, but her dedication speaks loudly through the genuine care she shows our residents every single day 🥰

We are so lucky to have her as part of our team.

We’ve spent the last couple of days putting our crafting skills back to the test 🎨🖌️

We are just chuffed with how our 2025 Rata Park Care Home scrabble wall art came out 🤩 every residents and staff members name is on it, plus a photo of everyone and some family photos too 💛

🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Everyone was spoilt rotten by our very own Santa yesterday. The love and donations we received helped make the day just that bit more special ❤️💚

We have a very special day planned for your loved ones tomorrow. Every resident has presents under the tree and they are all very excited to see what they get 🎁 🌲

For Christmas lunch we have a ham, turkey, and all the trimmings. We will be full and merry tomorrow 💛

I will share photos of our Christmas at the end of the week. But for now, we wish you a Merry Christmas, from our very own Santa and all the team at Rata Park, and we hope your day will be as special as ours 🥰

We appreciate all the donations and support you provide to Rata Park, and your baking is to die for 🤤

Our residents were spoilt today with some fabulous yummy treats, and there’s plenty more for Christmas tomorrow. If you haven’t tried Eden Southern Kitchen yet, make sure to put it on your 2026 to do list 🥰

Can you visit friend and family?
Yes, unless resident showing symptoms of being unwell as we have had gastro. This has been hard on residents and staff alike.
Please call Rata Park and we organise to meet with family in YPD unit lounge or their own room, if they are well. We also need a time and day you are coming so we can organise the unit lounge to be free and make sure your relative is well. Give the home a call to organise with the staff.

A massive thank you to Carly’s Kitchen!!

On Monday, from the safety of our car park, Carly and her team visited Rata Park and spoilt out residents with a fish and chip lunch 🤤

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and the service was just as amazing! 🤩
We look forward to having Carly back in the New Year as requested by our residents (and staff 😅).

If you haven’t tried Carly’s Kitchen yet, Rata Park definitely highly recommends 💛

Please be aware that we are ISOLATING from community due to a gastro infection that is doing the rounds through some of the children of staff and one suspected case onsite.
We request visitors hold off coming to Rata Park until we are clear of symptoms.
