Rata Park Rest Home We provide a 5 bedroom Young Persons Unit along side our 20 bed care wing

We are a 25 bed Care Home situated 3kms from the Winton township providing a wonderful rural environment, we care for young adults from the age of 18 years old to our centenarians. Set on 4 acres and surrounded by farmland, we are a 20 bed resthome situated 3kms from the Winton township providing a wonderful rural environment with a dedicated team of staff. We offer long and short term care for young and old as well as respected end of life palliative care. Our activities and outings are many and varied and we strive to
accommodate individual resident’s interests and preferences as much as possible. Owners Darren and Vicky, both registered nurses, live on site with their children, providing a real family atmosphere they would love to share with you.

We learnt all about Mexico, quizzed ourselves on what we had learnt and broke out the sombreros!
One of our amazing cooks, James, gave us the taste of Mexico with chicken burritos and guacamole πŸ₯‘
After lunch we battled it out with the pinata! We eventually won and enjoyed a sweet treat.
To wrap it up we had some delicious mocktailsπŸ₯‚

🌼 'Then my heart with pleasure fills; and dances with the daffodils' 🌼

For daffodil day we made sure to visit the Cancer Society stand outside Winton Pharmacy and get our daffodils and pins.
Back at home we crafted our own daffodils to pop around our home. And whilst the glue was out we decorated some sombreros for an exciting activity coming up. Watch this space!! πŸŽ‰

We're excited to announce that Rata Park Care Home is hosting a garage sale! πŸŽ‰ Come visit us at the Winton RSA Hall (186 Great North Rd) on **Sunday, August 10th from 10 AM to 2 PM**.

All proceeds will go directly towards funding activities, prizes, and outings for our wonderful residents. Your support can make a real difference in their lives!

What a lovely day we had! Some of our residents enjoyed a visit to the Miharo Art Exhibition earlier this week, taking in the beautiful and inspiring artworks on display. πŸ–ΌοΈβœ¨

We followed it up with a relaxing lunch out together, full of good food and great company. Lots of smiles, laughter, and happy hearts all around. πŸ’œπŸ˜Š
