Whatu Ora, Te Rau Ora and Mākohakoha are holding a National Wānanga for practitioners of rangatahi services.

Nau mai rā! Come with an open mind, ready to engage and ako from our rangatira o āpōpō. Come and engage with the voices of our future. Nau mai ki tō rātou ao.

If you are practitioner working in rangatahi Māori mental health and addiction services, then this hui is for you!

Experience their rangahau, their aspirations and their model of practice.

Two days of wānanga, whakawhanungatanga, fun and learning.

Te Pā Wānanga o Ōmaka Marae is looking for two new pouako to join their kura reo Māori that serves ākonga from Y0-8, grounded in the whakapapa, tikanga, and mātauranga of Kurahaupōtanga, and the identity of Rangitāne o Wairau, Ngāti Kuia, and Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō.

✨ Pouako Matua | A dynamic and experienced pouako matua who is fluent in te reo Māori, deeply committed to kaupapa Māori education, and skilled in fostering culturally responsive, Treaty-based learning environments.

While you’re here, you can also choose to take part in free cervical screening or self-testing in a safe, and supportive space. Whether you come for the kōrero, the kai, the company, or the care, this day is for ALL wāhine.
