Pilates For You Pilates is Ideal for:
- pre and post natal fitness
- rehabilitation after injuries
- body toning
- muscle strengthening
- improving flexibility

Alexandra Foerstmann trained with the CCC in April 2009 to become a Pilates Instructor. Studied at NZIHF and qualified as a Personal Trainer in May 2009. Became a registered ISBT- Bowen Therapist in March 2013 and Fascial Kinetics Bowen therapy in September 2018. She has been running classes for 12 years from Woodend. With Alex you get a dedicated, focused lesson that will leave your body feeling

energized, strong and relaxed. Beginner/Intermediate/Advances Pilates and Yoga classes are run from the Methodist Church Hall in Woodend and the Pegasus community Centre.

Payment options:
Hall classes;
- casual class $16.
- 1 class per week $98, if paid upfront for the block.
- 2 classes per week $182, if paid upfront for the block.
Upfront paid classes must be used in the timeframe of the block. If you miss a class you can catch up with any other class during the block.

Zoom class;
- casual class $13.
- block $84.

Most people try to quiet the mind directly.
But the mind does not become silent by force.

In Iyengar Yoga, the entry point is the body.

When the body is restless,
the brain remains active.

When the body learns stillness,
the mind begins to settle.

This is why:
Stillness is not the absence of action.
Action and silence must exist together.

Without silence, movement becomes agitation.
With silence, action becomes intelligent.

This is the intelligence of practice.
