The residents of Greytown Orchards gathered at Moy Hall Wines yesterday for a delightful two-course lunch that turned a regular Thursday into something special. The turnout was fantastic, and everyone raved about the delicious food. It's one of the perks of living at Greytown Orchards, being surrounded by so many excellent places to eat. Whether the residents feel like taking a leisurely stroll down Greytown's Main Street for a meal or hopping in the car to explore the charming eateries scattered throughout the region, they really are spoiled for choice.

“I wasn’t ready to slow down,” says Greytown Orchards resident Donne Sklenars. “I wanted to keep living fully, and here, there’s every opportunity to do just that.”

With the construction of a brand-new communal facility underway, the village continues to evolve, offering even more spaces to connect and enjoy. As Donne puts it, “I feel more like myself here than I have in years. I’m doing things I love again, and I’ve met some truly lovely people.”

Last Tuesday, we enjoyed a delightful jazz concert featuring Sir Kim Workman on keyboard and Patrick Bleakley on bass. The event was wonderfully informal, with lots of banter and even some singing from the crowd! The two hours flew by, and we're hopeful for a repeat performance soon.

Sessions like this perfectly showcase the vibrant events and activities calendar available to our residents. They highlight the strong sense of community and the diverse, engaging activities we offer. Our events are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, fostering a sense of belonging and fun.
