The much awaited post.. 😅

Well Becoming a mum again has been the most beautiful and hectic change in my life and as our family settles into a new routine with hubby back at full-time work, myself doing school life, events and school sports on the calendar...I’ve made the decision on getting Sol studio up to it's full potential on hold for now.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s the right one for my family and for me right now.

I appreciate your understanding and kindness as I navigate this new chapter and I ask respectfully that this change be met with support and not abuse.

I am certain it's not forever... just for now.

When I do return, I will be focusing exclusively on long-haired colour and blonding clientele. I will have also significantly reduced my working hours and overall clientele to ensure I can balance both my business and my family in a way that feels healthy and sustainable. Further details on all that though, will be shared at a later date.

HAPPY FRIDAY - Just checking in x

I hope everyone is doing well. For those interested in how we are getting on i thought i would do a little update post 😊

Amren is 4 months old this week! Not sure where that has gone to be honest but it has flown by!
I am definitely soaking up every last minute of motherhood as i possibly can as this will be my last time having a little bubba to care for.
She's all about Mum, Dad and her sisters. Everything is going straight to the mouth, hands included 🤢
She likes to loudly sing/Scream 😵‍💫🤣 but all in all she's a sweet, funny wee girl.

At this stage, work wise is non existent but hopefully come winter i will be able to figure out some form of booking strategy that ties into our busy lives. At this time it's a play by ear situation as i can't guarantee what my weeks will look like with Amren and rather having to keep changing appointments due to lack of sleep or baby meltdowns etc i would rather not have to mess people around. 😅 BUT winter is my goal that I'm striving ahead for.

PLEASE Do not feel guilty if you have found someone in the mean time that you love going to for hair! I have had a few people reach out telling me how bad they feel for going somewhere else that suits them better. Don't ever feel bad!!!! us hairstylists don't own our clients x I'm just super thankful we got to know each other and had the time we did.🥰 And now your new stylist gets to build a relationship with you ❤️❤️❤️

Just know you're all still on my mind and hope you're all looking after yourselves

After 20 beautiful, whirlwind years in the wedding hair industry, I’m finally laying down my pins and stepping into a new season of life.

This work has given me more than I could ever have imagined including early mornings filled with nerves and excitement, quiet moments before the dress goes on, laughter, tears, and so many once-in-a-lifetime memories. Being trusted to be part of such an important day has always been an honour I never took lightly.

But seasons change, and right now my heart is calling me home. I’m choosing to pour my time and energy into raising my little girl, alongside my other beautiful children soaking up the moments that pass far too quickly and embracing this chapter with open arms.

To every single bride who sat in my chair over the years, thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for welcoming me into your mornings, your stories, your nerves, your joy. You’ve allowed me to be part of something incredibly special, and I will carry those memories with me always.
Some of you have even become cherished friends! 🥰

This isn’t goodbye with sadness, it’s goodbye with gratitude, love, and a very full heart !

Thank you for 20 unforgettable years.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hi everyone, just a little reminder with only having 6 weeks left of work before maternity leave -there is no longer anymore wriggle room for rescheduling.
Therefore, if you cannot make your appointment, we will unfortunately have to cancel until I return to work as I am at my full capacity whilst heavily pregnant, amongst midwife and hospital visits 😅
