Alexandria Specialists Medical Center is the dream project of Family and Community Health Consultant, Dr.Youssef Osman. As a paediatrician and family physician of over 35 years of experience, he longed to be able to provide a fully fledged clinical service that embodies the holistic family physician's approach within the reach of the public in the Sultanate of Oman. After an eminent career as a le
cturer and clinical service provider in governmental healthcare services (Ministry of Health and Sultan Qaboos University Hospitals) for over 32 years in Oman, he developed a sound consensus of the challenges facing healthcare in the private and public sectors. Many patients suffer the all too familiar loss of valuable time between different confusing specialities, unnecessary investigations and diagnostics, and exasperating inadequacy of their management. Over the years, he was able to establish this project into what he believes can bridge the gap for holistically serving his patients. Of particular significance to his vision, is the comprehensive practice of family medicine with all its clinical apparatus. We currently provide the following clinical services, with more new services to be made available:
