Breathwork helps us be more balanced, nourished, present, connected, compassionate and mindful. Just a few moments every day to be conscious of our breath teaches us to be more conscious of our bodies, our energy levels, our posture and our mental health.

Breathwork can benefit you in so many ways from boosting your mood to promoting creativity.

The first step is to be more aware of your breath throughout the day. Take the time to just notice how you are breathing and focus on where the air enters and goes to within your body. Just notice how it feels to breathe without judgment or the need to change it.

Once you have a better awareness of your breath, you can begin to control your breath, learning breathing techniques and seeing how each of them impacts your body and mind.

There is no right or wrong way to incorporate breathwork into your life. Anyone, anywhere can harness the power of their breath. Let this year, be the year you make friends with your breath.

How do you prepare for your Breathwork Journey?  There are a few things you should do to ensure the best experience.    ...

How do you prepare for your Breathwork Journey? There are a few things you should do to ensure the best experience.

#1. Don't eat a heavy meal beforehand and ideally don't eat for 2 hours before. That way your body can focus on the breath and not on your digestion.

#2. Find a calm and relaxing space where you won't be disturbed. If doing it via zoom, put a no disturb sign on your door, if in person, I'll be there to keep space and ensure you can go deep and be fully in the experience.

#3. Life down on a yoga mat or in a reclining chair, make sure that you an breathe deep, so no big pillow under your head, keep that pillow handy for #6. I have mats and blankets to ensure you are comfortable and warm if you need them.

#4. Cover your eyes with a sleep mask or a towel, making sure to keep your nose and mouth free to breathe. This will keep light from entering ensuring the best possible immersive experience. I supply super comfortable eye masks for everyone who joins me in person.

#5. Use quality headphones, or good earbuds if you are doing it via zoom, if in person, I have you covered with high quality headphones that will blow your mind.

#6. Have a pillow handy to scream into - I told you that pillow would come in handy. For anyone joining me in person, I have something for you to scream into, or have the pleasure of screaming without any limits... out into the wild!

And finally, the last thing to do is breathe deep! The deeper you breathe, the deeper your experience will be! You are here to experience something unique, transformative and exciting. Bring you A game to the experience and it will give you back all that you put into it.

There are so many benefits to breathwork, so if you are looking for clarity of mind, and to clear the chatter that holds you back, or have to deal with changes in your life that are causing stress, or if you feel that your emotions are not balances, be that through an event such as a trauma, then release from all that could be exactly what you need.

Breathwork is an incredible tool that you can use any time of the day to get you into a state of mind that is balanced and calm. Breathwork journeys are this tool at peak performance, where you can break way all the layers that are holding you back and find that space within you where growth is not only possible, it's the only thing that can happen.
