Praises to Orisa And, the divine essence of wealth.
April, 2026: at the Orisa Aje Festival in Ota, we were reminded that this is far more than a cultural gathering—it is a sacred homage to Aje, an Orisa deeply revered in the spiritual heritage of the Awori people. Aje is not just a symbol of wealth but a divine force governing prosperity, trade, and the flow of economic well-being.
Honoring Aje is a spiritual responsibility that calls for reverence, purity of intention, and alignment with the values of honesty, hard work, and communal progress. Through sacred rites, offerings, traditional chants, and the powerful rhythm of drums, today's celebration reaffirmed our connection to our ancestors and the spiritual foundations they laid. It is in these moments that culture is preserved, identity is strengthened, and the younger generation is reminded of the depth and meaning behind our traditions.
The Aje Festival stands as a testament that true prosperity is not accidental—it is divinely guided, culturally rooted, and sustained through respect for our Orisa and heritage.
