This has been one of the hardest lessons life keeps placing in front of me…

In relationships I held onto too long… the way I was trying to control the outcomes of my kids… how I was perceived by the outside world…

It showed up in every area — love, parenting, reputation, health, money…

But the moment I let go of needing to understand everything… the moment I stopped gripping so tightly to how it should look… I started to feel free…

When I moved to Costa Rica… it became official…

This path only works when I stop forcing… and start trusting…

And even though surrender feels scary… trying to control everything hurts a whole lot more…

I did a Family Compatibility Report, my first one! I sent the finished product to my kid to see if there is anything else he could think of that would benefit knowing. My kid is 20 and oh how life would've been different if we'd known at 4 like for the family I just did.

This is what he said...

As I was reading through it, I made a list of things that I think would be helpful, and then as I read more, I kept crossing them off because you had them in there! lol

I’m not really sure what else to add, it’s a thorough analysis and it should help a lot!

The only thing I noticed was a number error at the price sheet, 950 is listed, but below it, it’s listed at 900.

🙌I consider this a win!! Waiting anxiously for my clients feedback. I just loved the ending with their custom story that turns them all into super heroes and they each use their super powers, their unique gifts per the report, to defeat the bad guys!! Isn't that fun?!

I think that was soo frickin FREEING!!!

Plug in your headphones, drown everything else out and jack up the volume of your fav song! The one you know every. single. word to. Do this when you're alone...I swear in the woods or on a nature trail is icing on the cake!!

I'm going for my daily evening walk. I spent extra time at my tree... energetic stop and turnaround. That was cool.

On the way back, with my head phone plugged in, a seriously old fav of mine came on.

Drowning everything else out, I sang at the TOP of my lungs, in the middle of the street with a few practice twirls🤣 I couldn't hear mySelf let alone anything going on around me. I knew I was alone. Buuuut you never truly know, do you?🤔lol

The risk of being caught, like you're in the middle of a twirl and catch someone staring at you out of the corner of your eye...😳😆

And even if someone did hear you, you know they heard the same lovely voice you always hear in the bathroom and car anyway 😉🤣

My body literally felt open, calm, smooth, sun kissed, hmmm, that's what comes to mind right now. That's how you know it's a good thing... your body's reaction. Really cool. I invite you to try it!!! 🎤🎧

What are your plans for ringing in the new year?!

I've declared it my personal day.

You all know I'm a HUGE goal setter. I fell a bit of course since moving here and it's time to get realigned. This time I'm dreaming even BIGGER!!

Forget how to dream like I did leaving my marriage or since moving into this house being bombarded with what has to happen RIGHT NOW?!! The never ending todo list..

I invite you to try an exercise I've been doing for decades when I'd find mySelf stuck.

Set a timer for 3 mins.. Grab paper and pen, think back to being a kid making out your christmas list-oooh how childlike you get to be here! There are no limitations bc you're asking Santa!! No adults to tell you they can't afford that, there's no time, there's no way... Just you and the magic.

Then push start on the timer and write down very quickly, 1-2 word items-no need for detail here, just getting everything you heart has ever desired on paper!

That's where you begin!!

Soo today for me, it's about dreaming bigger than ever before, getting clear what I want next, and putting it all on paper to watch the magic ✨ happen!!

You know what else I was pondering today? Do I go out, do I not?

For decades I've thrown some outrageous parties and opposite years I traveled and spent NYE's in some amazing places.

You know what my thoughts settled on for this year? I could just do me... go out for a couple of hours then come home and ring in the new year with the best person I know...ME!!

Unless I don't want to go out. Haha, that's the joy about living life on my terms!! I looove the freedom to leave when I want!!

Todays Intentions:

💗Connect with the north star

🤗Dream BIG exercise -you know, even the bible tells you to soo it's not selfish to want more in life..Just sayin.

💗 Get clear on what I want next

🤗 Gather supplies for vision board (putting together on Tues)

💗Put away dry clean clothes that are drying now

🤗 Eat my awesome 'stew', you could call it. All veggies, baked down beans, yucca, digestive spices of course.. so thick and chunky. Mmm, my fav kinda soup..er stew. Mmm, the way my future man loves me, too!😝
