The FLASHA Convention hotel is filling up and the cost to stay there will be significantly more than it will be to stay with us a few miles away.(FLASHA has reserved a block of rooms at the Naples Grande Beach resort at the special convention price of $179.00 plus tax.) I just found this. So sad.

Alisa K. (Weems) Kelley, 57 of Panama City, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home. Alisa was born November 10, 1960 in Springhill, LA to Jerry W. Weems and Bonnie (Slack) Riley and moved to Panama City in 1970. Alisa is a Mosley High School graduate, Class of ’78 and received her Master’s Degree from FSU, School of Speech Pathology, Class of ’83. Alisa worked throughout Bay County her entire career. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Richard Weems. Alisa was a member of City Church at Northside. Alisa is survived by her mother, Bonnie (David) Riley of Panama City; her brothers, Mike (Lisa) Riley of Panama City and Marty (Laurel) Riley of Port St. Joe; her nieces and nephews, Amy (John) Wobser of Panama City and Michael Riley of Tampa, Philip and Hannah Riley of Port St. Joe and her grandnephew, Bear Wobser of Panama City. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 19th from 12-1:00 pm at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place at 1pm. Interment will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
