🌿✨ Nature Journaling Workshop with Yvonne Brown of Yeduri ✨🌿

We are so thrilled to welcome Yvonne back to Wild Ginger to guide us in the art of Nature Journaling! 🍂

📖 Together, just after the Equinox, we’ll gather on our beautiful Southern Maryland farm to:

🌱 Craft our own seasonal nature journals

👀 Learn observation + journaling techniques

🍃 Deepen our connection with the land and its seasonal rhythms

Bring a mug for tea and something comfy to sit on. 🫖🪑 You’ll leave with a handmade journal and the tools to continue a seasonal practice of noticing and recording the world around you.

A bit more about our wonderful teacher, Yvonne: Constant scribe, suburban homesteader, herbalist, crazy plant lady. Maker of magic and dispenser of love. I craft goodies in my cozy Maryland kitchen that are made with love and intention and show people how to live more joyful, wild lives.

Can’t wait for Molly Meehan’s Class on Herb Growing, First Aid as a part of our Year 2 Medicine Keeper Program.

At Wild Ginger we continue to deepen our offerings and again offer our Year 2 Medicine Keepers Community Herbal Program for the first time since 2019. We are excited to continue to build relationships with the plants and with eachother! We believe it is as important as ever to continue to do this work in community! This program offers our community a chance to explore folk herbalism with a second year that is meant to deepen our practice of herbalism. Participants must have either completed our Year 1 Medicine Keepers Community Herbal Program, or have a similar strong foundation in herbalism.

Classes run from June through November and are all in person.

We are so very thankful to welcome of to teach on Herb Drug Interactions.

Eziaku Ogbonna is a Board-Certified Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, Project Management Professional and former Herbal intern at Fox Haven Farm. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy after majoring in Chemistry as an undergraduate student. She currently works as a clinical pharmacist at a local hospital.

Growing up in west Africa, Eziaku would observe her elders using herbs to help treat ailments. This birthed her passion for a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Affectionally known as Dr. OG, or “Big Farma”, Eziaku also runs a small skin+body care business called Ayoni Wellness, where she formulates natural health & wellness products with ingredients that are prescribed by nature and backed by science.
