Essential oil is a real gift of nature, an extremely popular and multifunctional aromatic volatile substance released from flowers, seeds, roots, leaves, fruits, wood or resin of plants, and has unique notes that, like music, have their own tonality. It is customary in compositions to combine broadcasts of different tonalities. Essential oils are natural protection of plants from pests, viruses and bacteria, from overheating and cold. Oils give plants a scent that attracts insects to pollinate. Essential oils have an oily consistency, but these are not vegetable oils, which are a combination of fatty acids and glycerin, while essential oils lack a fatty base. Esters are not fat and are glycerin-free. Esters are a mixture of volatile substances and organic compounds of various classes. Essential oils are actively used in cosmetology to improve the quality of the skin, for medicinal purposes and for the prevention of various diseases. In addition, they are actively used in the aromatization of rooms, baths, for aromatherapy and to increase psychophysical health and emotional state (to invigorate, calm, relax, to increase potency, etc.). Important! Essential oils must be used carefully so as not to cause burns on the skin and allergic reactions from improperly selected and incorrectly used fragrances. The properties of oils depend on the type of plant, the growing conditions, the part used, and the method of production (for example, distillation or pressing). Often, oils of different quality, composition and smell are obtained from different parts of the same plant. Essential oils have a wide range of biological activities. Some of them are antiseptics, others are antispasmodics, the third regenerate cells, the fourth calm or, on the contrary, excite the nervous system. At the same time, essential oils are powerful agents that can not only help, but also harm if you do not follow the recommendations for use. Not everything that is called "essential oil" is an essential oil.
