Natures Medicina Supporting people to deeply reconnect back to Mother nature in reverence to the spirit of all beings

21/11/2025

This morning i awoke early, grabbed my machete and put on some boots to go adventuring into the jungle with my dear friend Falcon. Battling against 100s of mosquitos 😫 our mission was to harvest and learn about this incredible medicine tree called " Uvos Rojos" The Amazonian version of dragons blood 😍 I learnt that it's used for many things, Such as for treating cancer and used as an internal treatment after women give birth 😲 Today we harvested some of this to treat some wounds i have that haven't been healing so well. I'm confident that this will be exactly what is needed for a full recovery. Pure jungle medicine 🥰 Definitely worth rising early for..✨

Laportea aestuans 🌿 also known as Ishanga, or Jungle Nettle. Is a potent medicinal plant that is used here in the jungle for many different ailments. 🌿 Especially those that include pain, inflammation and circulation in the body. It can also be consumed as a tea 🍵or used in plant baths during a dieta. 🛀 Around 8 months ago I had a fall and landed directly on my tailbone which was not a fun experience to say the least. I usually won't take pain relief medication but this was a time where I really needed to get all the help I could. I didn't want to stop working due to pain. So the shamans began to treat the area with ishanga and after every treatment I felt a drastic improvement in the pain I was experiencing ✨ I believe it also assisted in a much more rapid healing time, compared to the healing rate of the injury when I wasn't receiving the ishanga treatment. 🧙‍♂️ Probably my favorite part of this plant aside from its strong healing abilities is that this is also a playful form of punishment amongst the shipibo shamans. Which brings a ton of laughter and slight pain (yet amazing pain relief 👌🏽) all at the same time. 😅😂 I have grown very fond of this beautiful plant allie. 🥰 🫶 (swipe to see the last two videos 😂🙌🏽🌿)

Nicotiana rustica, otherwise known as mapacho or sacred jungle to***co 🌿 is a revered master teacher plant in many Amazonian shamanic traditions, a bridge between the seen and unseen, the physical and the spiritual. 💫 It cleanses, grounds, protects, and carries our prayers upward to Spirit with clarity and strength. 🙏🏽

As with all true plant relationships, the timing was not mine to decide. ⏰ I had to wait many years until the moment fully revealed itself. When the call of the plant aligned with the readiness of my path. 👣 For the past seven and a half months, I have worked closely with mapacho daily. In that time, I have begun to understand its depth, its immense power, and why it is such a vital ally in this sacred work. My direct experiences have shown me that mapacho is a powerful spirit and guardian that is essential to walk beside in this work. 🌿

Unlike Western to***co, which is laced with toxic chemicals, stripped of its spirit, and consumed without reverence, mapacho is pure, potent, and respected. Containing around ten times the ni****ne of Western to***co 😯, and isn't inhaled. But the greatest difference for me, is in the relationship. In Shamanic traditions, mapacho is honored, sung to, prayed with, and treated as an elder 🩷 In the West, to***co has been commodified, adulterated, and disconnected from its essence, shifting the energetic bond between human and plant.

For me, mapacho has become an essential tool and ally. offering guidance, insight, and a strong energetic protection that I can deeply feel. I am deeply grateful for the ongoing teachings of this grandfather spirit, and for the strength and clarity it brings to my work every day. ✨❤️

Recently, I graduated from the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. 🪷🙃 This program dives deep into classical Tantrik philosophy and Shaivism (not to be confused with new-age Ta**ra) Touching on the history of yoga and how it began, before the yoga we know and love today. 🥰 working with deities and Integrating the five-element system of earth, water, wind, fire, and void with ancient wisdom on walking a spiritual path in everyday life.🌱 Beyond just theoretical learning, this training emphasizes embodying these practices, enabling participants to notice real life shifts and transformations within their own lives. 🙌🏽💫

By incorporating daily rituals through mantra and puja practice 🪷, alongside meditation, 🧘‍♀️ breathwork 🌬, anatomy, prana shakti and tools for breaking unhelpful habits that may hold you back from reaching your fullest potential.💪🏽☄️ It also teaches how to work with fear as a teacher and offers so much more. 💫

One aspect I deeply value is the requirement to fully embody what you teach before becoming a qualified teacher. 🌺 The program emphasizes consistent, daily practice over a significant period, encouraging students to write about their personal experiences and understanding of the foundational layers of reality as a requirement for graduation. 🔥🙌🏽
There is immense value in this training beyond simply becoming a yoga teacher. By embodying what you practice you inevitably go through a process of personal growth and transformation.🐛🦋 I can easily say I am not the same person who started this training. 👌🏽 Now i'm teaching classes twice a week and I can really feel the value and gratitude for how this training was created. It has prepared me to guide others authentically and with integrity. Both big values of mine 🍃✨

Thank you for your wisdom, your patience and understanding and for the fun and playfulness you weaved into the classes. 💕✨
If you read this far (firstly thank you ☺🙏🏽) if you're interested in getting your yoga teacher certification (you will be certified with yoga alliance - meaning that you will be recognized around the world 🌎 as a qualified teacher) 👇🏽 continued in comments

This week I got the absolute pleasure to teach my peruvian friend Kaori how to make a natural face cream, we met a few weeks ago and after chatting a little she asked if I could show her how to make something with lavender from her garden. 🌿 She then gathered all the ingredients and tools we needed to make this happen. 🙃 It's been around a year since I created something last, I forgot how much joy this brings me. Yet this was a first experience for me to teach someone else how to create natural products, reminding me of and reigniting the goal to hold different workshops teaching others how to work alongside and reconnect with Nature 🧚‍♀️ (all in good time) Her younger sister also joined us to help out 🥰 women of different generations coming together and creating, A true blessing. It was such a fulfilling experience ✨ and fun to navigate this space with the language barrier, Kaori speaks Spanish and a little English.. And I speak English and a little Spanish. 😅 Yet in the end we had a very successful experience and now she feels confident to begin crafting her own creams, balms 🙌🏽 and hopefully igniting the love for crafting as many natural products as she can for herself, family and her local community. 🙏🏽🌿
Thank you for making this happen ❤ I will cherish these memories for many moons to come 🥰

Entering the death portal. What does it mean to die again and again before ones actual death?
To enter over and over into a metamorphosis continually being turned into goop before reformation and re emergance in a new state 🦋. To die before ones death is to completly let go of the parts of ones self that no longer fit. To see these parts, acknowledge them, love them and let them die. ☠️ Becoming the compost for new growth🪱 🌱. To say goodbye to these parts can feel akin to a loved one dying, There is a very real grief process that arrises. They have been a part of you for as long as you can remember. 💔 An identity built from an unconscious place and they served a purpose. Yet if one is willing enough to continue to re evaluate along the journey what works and what doesn't, then there are parts that need to be left behind for a more rich and fulfilling life 🙏🏽. Not just mentally but energetically, physically, emotionally. This is when one may choose to enter into a death portal. ☄️
Challenging initiations, near death experiences, rites of passage and specific plant medicine ceremonies are all ways we can meet this metaphorical yet very real death of ones self. These challenging experiences that give us the grit, the strength, wider perspective, the fire of light in our hearts ❤️‍🔥 and truth of life that we need in order to step up into something completely new. To meet parts of ourselves we never knew. To become more of who we came here to be 🪷, beyond the conditioning of a toxic society. ❌
Not only does this move you into your greatest fulfillment but it also prepares you for when that time actually comes to leave this life behind in peace and joy. The unknown is always a terrifying place, but when one can show ones self over and over that the beauty, the magic of life is in the unknown ✨ then the transition from this world to the next. From one reality to the next, can have an air of curiosity, of Trust and excitement. Thus we choose to die over and over before we actually do. Shedding skins and being born anew 🌞🐍🌺❤ stepping up and into our greatest self 🪷🪻~ Natures Medicina 💫

I can't believe this was already 6 months ago, right as I set out on my overseas journey to begin up skilling myself on many levels in order to bring offerings like these into my community. Everything has its right timing and this beautiful seed is currently being tended to with care until it's time comes to sprout, grow and blossom. 🌿🌺
Suntara was and is an incredible teacher and support when it comes to the sound healing/breathwork world. His sound healings have had profound effects on many individuals, including myself some years before I trained with him. I will be forever greatful for these teachings.

I am feeling so filled up right now as I begin to prepare for my second women's circle coming up on Tuesday evening. ✨ Then a very special space holding/healing opportunity for someone very dear to my heart next week. For the first time I feel I am experiencing so much excitement and gratitude for the present, not needing it to be anything other than what it is right now. While simultaneously feeling the excitement for the next chapter of this journey and all the unknowns to come when I land in South America late next month. The present moment really is a gift and I will continue to relish In every second of it. 🌿❤

Sweat lodge 🔥 Entering into the womb of the mother earth 🤰Is an ancient rites of passage that was and still is practiced by native people's all over the world. The inipi is a traditional native American ceremony of the Lakota peoples. Inipi meaning "prayer to the sweat lodge" Where Volcanic stones "Abuelitas" (Little ancient Grandmothers) are heated inside the fire 🔥 until they are glowing red hot and one by one respectfully taken inside the sweat lodge🪇 ☄️ Where those who are entering into their rights of passage be it to mark an important life transition, to become closer to spirit, purify ones physical mental emotional and spiritual bodies✨ for self reflection , spiritual growth, to prepare for vision quest 👁 and many other deeply transformative processes, Enter into the womb to undergo their rites of passage journey and then be "reborn" 👶at the end of the ceremony. It's a powerful and very challenging process and one that I personally hold very dear to my heart. ❤

A few days before I left bali I stumbled across a poster that had no details but a beautiful picture of a sweat lodge ceremony 🌟, after trying to find the details of where this was with no luck, I sat down at a supermarket waiting for my gojek ride 🛴 then right next to me I found a little print out with the details for the lodge 😍.. I went to the location and met with two Mexican elders who had travelled to bali and decided to build a sweat lodge.. The only thing was it was being held the same day I flew out of bali 😞 I was unable to change my flight and so although I felt sad that I couldn't attend I also felt excited that it seemed as though the sweat lodge found me ✨

One week after landing in Israel 🇮🇱 I met someone who had recently attended a sweat lodge and was given the contact details for the facilitator.. A sweat lodge held in the desert! 😍😃 My heart was filled once more with excitement as I patiently waited for the next ceremony to be held.
It was the first sweat lodge for me that I was in full recievership as I only knew sweat lodge with the role of the fire keeper and all that comes with that special role 🔥 something that I love very dearly. *continued in comments 👇

This land is so abundant and full of life 🌿😍. Surrounded by fields of medicinal wild flowers and edible plants everywhere I turn. Plants I have learnt about but never seen in person and new allies to build a relationship with and work beside. 🌸

I feel so inspired to start creating medicines and first Aid goodies to gift to the people here. Im so grateful to be able to travel to new lands and still be able to create from my heart with the abundance that mother nature and life provides.

When I left Australia I thought that it would be a long time before I was able to craft creams/salves and tinctures again. Yet a big lesson I'm learning so clearly in my travels is that life always provides in unimaginable ways if i let go and trust the process. Only a couple of months into my journey ive been gifted the opportunity to create once more, not just medicines but many things that make my soul feel alive! Even finding some stones to try to knap with 😍🌿🙏🥰

Here I am surrounded by field chamomile, wild marigold, purple clover. There was also Salsify (with the most beautiful seed head) ✨ plus an abundance of new allies that I'm still learning about. 📚

This country has such a special place in my heart and I'm lookong forward to what magic continues to unfold in my time here. 🐝🧚‍♀️🇮🇱
