Vinyasa flow yoga classes for any level practitioner in Lobitos Peru Leah specializes in Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga inspired, asana classes.
One of her goals is to prove that yoga is accessible to everyone, no matter age, fitness level or flexibility. Leah is based between Lobitos Peru, and North Vancouver Canada. Growing up in North Vancouver, Leah practiced gymnastics and dance for 7 years before attending UBC Okanagan to study Human Kinetics. Her studies of exercise science and the human body led her into a consistent, power yoga practice. Upon graduation, Leah travelled to India for her 200 hour, Ashtanga - Vinyasa Flow teacher training. She stayed on after the course for 30 additional hours of adjustment training and practice and began teaching drop in classes. She then spent 3 more months travelling India and practicing with various teachers, including a traditional Ashtanga Mysore practice where the practice originated. In 2013 Leah moved to the small coastal town Lobitos Peru to work for a non-profit, after 2 years of living in Peru Leah opened her own organization, one of the pillars being teaching yoga classes for kids. Apart from her non-profit work in Peru Leah also teaches adult yoga classes. También pude ofrecer clases en Español

My classes are an accumulation of everything I have learned on and off the mat. It is my goal to offer classes that are accessible for any and all levels of mental and physical fitness.
Yoga knows no limits, be it age, flexibility or size.
I began practicing yoga in 2012 as a form of exercise. I soon became nearly obsessed with the practice and how it made me feel. After each session I was left with a feeling of lightness and love. I knew in my gut there was more to yoga than the poses on the mat could teach me. After a few intense months of practice I enrolled in a teacher training in India for the following year.
I never intended to become a yoga teacher, at least not right away. Going to India was only supposed to be a way for me to learn. I wanted to learn yoga from people who grew up with yoga as a part of their culture; people who truly lived and breathed yoga.
Another teacher I met during my training encouraged me to try teaching. With her encouragement, and support, I had my first teaching job the month following my training.
Since then, I have incorporated the spiritual practice of yoga into my everyday life, and everything that I do.
This practice has influenced my life in so many wonderful ways, and it is my privilege to be sharing it with others.
I hope you’ll join me for a class or two in Lobitos.
