She then spent 3 more months travelling India and practicing with various teachers, including a traditional Ashtanga Mysore practice where the practice originated. In 2013 Leah moved to the small coastal town Lobitos Peru to work for a non-profit, after 2 years of living in Peru Leah opened her own organization, one of the pillars being teaching yoga classes for kids. My Yoga, My Story

Hey! I’m Leah, a Canadian living in Lobitos Peru.

My classes are an accumulation of everything I have learned on and off the mat. It is my goal to offer classes that are accessible for any and all levels of mental and physical fitness.

Yoga knows no limits, be it age, flexibility or size.

I began practicing yoga in 2012 as a form of exercise. I soon became nearly obsessed with the practice and how it made me feel. After each session I was left with a feeling of lightness and love. I knew in my gut there was more to yoga than the poses on the mat could teach me. After a few intense months of practice I enrolled in a teacher training in India for the following year.
