This week, we want to share more about our featured artist Eduardo, presenting as Edzy Frequency. Eduardo Carvalho is a dear brother hailing from Cape Verde and Portugal, although he is a universal being and a true gift to humanity. You can find him on many platforms and he was generous enough to share two song for our album.
We had the joy and honor of sitting with Eduardo in Paoyhan and bearing witness to his song craft and soft, anchoring presence in the maloca. Eduardo has a long history as a musician in bands ranging from rock, reggae, experimental, fusion and his more recent artistic turn to medicine music, after beginning his medicine path. He has recently been seen performing at medicine music festivals in Europe and continues to grow and serve as a musician and healer, bringing his own unique musical medicine to the world.
Eduardo generously contributed two tracks to the album, “Gracias Madrecita,” and “Hold Our Hands,” the later of which he will be sharing a performance of in our next installment. One thing we get to know when we work closer with Ayahuasca, is that “She” is a mystery, a greater counciousness. Not one ceremony is the same and usually, we receive what we need and not what we desire or expect.

Although, one thing we know and experience when we drink this potent brew is the opening of a portal where we feel VIBRATIONS. Energy becomes visible, palpable and so present that you cannot deny that all that exists within and around you has a frequency.

When we approach an Ayahuasca ceremony as any counscious practice; meditation, yoga or mindfulness, we discover ways to work with energy, sound and vibrations in order to become the alchemist and the creator of our own reality.

In our 16 day Peruvian pilgrimage, SACRED VIBRATIONS, we will experience two Ayahuasca ceremonies, supported with the energy of the high jungle of Moyobamba, nestled between the Andes and the Amazon Forest. All participants will be prepared and led in a safe way so they can initiate this journey within the Great Mother Ayahuasca’s woumb to be reborn to themselves and to the world.

Une chose que nous apprenons en travaillant plus étroitement avec l'Ayahuasca, c'est que « Elle » est un mystère, une conscience supérieure. Chaque cérémonie est unique et, généralement, nous recevons ce dont nous avons besoin, et non ce que nous désirons ou attendons.

Cependant, une chose est sûre lorsque nous buvons cette puissante décoction : un portail s'ouvre vers lequel nous ressentons des VIBRATIONS. L'énergie devient visible, palpable et si présente qu'il est impossible de nier que tout ce qui existe en nous et autour de nous possède une fréquence.

En abordant une cérémonie d'Ayahuasca comme toute pratique de conscience – méditation, yoga ou pleine conscience –, nous découvrons comment travailler avec l'énergie, le son et les vibrations pour devenir les alchimistes et les créateurs de notre propre réalité.

Lors de notre pèlerinage péruvien de 16 jours, VIBRATIONS SACRÉES, nous vivrons deux cérémonies d'Ayahuasca, imprégnées de l'énergie de la haute jungle de Moyobamba, nichée entre les Andes et la forêt amazonienne. We are so excited to start to share with you a serial of videos involving Aude Louis, Pepe Ramos, Matthew D » Kronbach and myself where we will share a little bit more about the content of our pilgrimage in January, from the Amazon jungle to the Sea. This will be the first time we will offer this journey, combining Plant Medicine, Sacred Geometry, Geobiology, the visit of sacred ancient sites of Peru, and Andean healing and teachings and energetic practices to enhance your knowledge about energy practices, vibrations, healing and manifestation. This process will be amplified with the ancient tradition of « pilgrimage » that will offer us perspective on ourselves and our lives so we can come back and integrate these tools to become the best version of ourselves.

PÈLERINAGE DES VIBRATIONS SACRÉES

Nous sommes ravis de vous présenter une série de vidéos avec Aude Louis, Pepe Ramos, Matthew D. Kronbach et moi-même. Nous vous en dirons plus sur le contenu de notre pèlerinage de janvier, de la jungle amazonienne à la mer. Ce sera la première fois que nous proposerons ce voyage, combinant médecine par les plantes, géométrie sacrée, géobiologie, visite de sites sacrés anciens du Pérou, et soins et enseignements andins, ainsi que pratiques énergétiques, afin d'approfondir vos connaissances sur l’énergie, les vibrations, la guérison et la manifestation. Ce processus sera amplifié par la tradition ancestrale du « pèlerinage », qui nous offrira une perspective sur nous-mêmes et nos vies, afin que nous puissions revenir et intégrer ces outils pour devenir la meilleure version de nous-mêmes.

« La Wachuma est le remède des Andes dans le contexte andin, une énergie masculine, une énergie, une source d'énergie que nous préparons et que nous ingérons pour entrer dans des états de conscience modifiés afin d'atteindre un niveau de conscience qui peut nous connecter au cœur de la terre. La Wachuma nous donne la capacité de nous intégrer au premier principe qui est la Causa Y Pacha, à l'énergie de la terre elle-même, afin de reconnaître cette énergie vibratoire et de nous y intégrer. Et à partir de là, commencer un travail de reprogrammation. La plante va nous reprogrammer et cette reprogrammation va nous permettre d'entrer également pour voir quelles sont nos lacunes, quels sont les aspects sur lesquels nous devons travailler, nettoyer, car la plante, l'esprit de la plante est si bienveillant qu'il nous emmènera directement à notre centre, à notre plan de guérison. Et lorsque ce processus commence, il nous connecte également à la fréquence vibratoire du lieu. Welcome friends, medicine family and new listeners! We are so proud to announce the release of this beautiful project, a true labor of love that is the product of many months of planning, many late hours, many hands and voices, and the tremendous generosity of many gifted individuals. Here we offer the first of what we hope will be many such collections of songs, The Heart Of The Jungle Volume I, “Into The Heart Of The Jungle” !!!

As some of you know, The Heart Of The Jungle is a collective of medicine workers, dieteros, medical and psychiatric practitioners - and all of us dreamers! The mission of this collective is to learn of and keep the traditional practices and medicines of various indigenous peoples throughout South America and beyond. Beginning with the Shipibo of the Ucayali region of Eastern Peru, we are slowly expanding to learn these ancient ways that are being lost to modernity, and keep and preserve these traditions and technologies, while seeking to build on their foundations by adapting them to today’s world with today’s problems.

The Heart of the Jungle is currently offering guided and well facilitated Master Plant Dieta Retreats and individual guidance for medicine work, ceremonies and other collaborations for holistic retreats including Medicine Plants. We are building towards having our own center one day, to better serve our communities and those who seek to heal themselves with the incredible pharmacy of medicinal plants we are blessed to receive from the the Amazon Jungle. It is with this hope and dream in mind that we release this offering as a fund raiser towards meeting the goal of finding and purchasing the land that will become the home base for our services. While these funds will primarily recouping our cost to produce the album, any further proceeds will go towards building, maintenance and hosting our website, but the main thing we hope to gain from initiating this project, is greater visibility for our cause, while cross promoting our dear collaborators on this album.

This album is a collection of songs brought to you by a group of dieteros who have all dieted amongst the Shipibo. Hailing from across the world, each one brings a unique presentation, highlighting the diversity and individuality present within the collective whole. Here you will find pure icaros, sung by our maestro, Miguel Ochavano Urquia, as well as raw unaccompanied prayers and invocations, intimate acoustic tracks and full blown, full band elaborations.

He produced five of these tracks and mastered the album at his studios in Pucallpa, Peru, at the Mozart Escuela Contemporánea de Musica, and we are so grateful for this man and the many hours of expert labor he donated to this release.

As well, we have eternal gratitude for each musician, every producer and engineer, our maestro and all those who have already supported The Heart Of The Jungle along our journey so far. Hello dear family!

I am sending you this message from the beautiful mountains of the Diamante Valley, Costa Rica! I embarked a new adventure with Soltara, a Center for Ayahuasca retreats working with Shipibo tradition. I am so grateful to Life that brought me to work with this amazing team. This place is operating from the heart while being involved with the most skilled individuals, bridging science, modern psychology and ancient technology. I feel this team being a gathering of the best hearts, minds and souls and I am blessed to have the chance to be part of this in this moment.

Since many years, Soltara have been operating at Playa Blanca, their first location and this last month, we have opened the new site which is a collaborations with the HOLOS community, well established here in the Diamante Valley, owning 200 acres of land hosting 7 waterfalls.

I will be serving here until July 28th and will be back from September 25th until December 18th.
