SPECIFICITY INCREASES THE SENSATION OF APPRECIATION 😊🎉 Who knew? This is such a good tip to get specific with a gratitude practice.

Have you ever done a gratitude practice and gotten a bit, shall we say bored?? by being grateful for the same things over and over again? Seems crazy we could get bored with that, but I think I've been in that boat 😄

So today I'm specifically grateful for my Mom's homemade bread made fresh every single week of my growing up life - that's dedication! And love 🥰😘😘

Let me tell you about 3 of my favorite things for a life of ENERGY and VITALITY!! 😄😁

• 20-30 grams of protein with each meal - can look like 2-3 eggs + 1/2 cup of dal or black beans, 1 cup of mock-chicken salad made with tempeh, dark berries + greens with 2 scoops of protein powder smoothie

• Daily hydration with the number of ounces that equals 1/2 your body weight in pounds (for me about 65-70oz or 2 quarts of water) You can use any unsweetened, non-caffeinated fluid to get there - herbal tea, broth, sparkling water, water with cucumber slices...

• Sleep - 7hrs minimum nightly but 8 is better - if you can't sleep, there are many potential reasons why, and we can work through those - but a nice wind-down routine that includes 1-2 scoops of CALM magnesium powder can work wonders for some people 😉
