The Healer | Chaman
Miguel Tapullima Cachique (38), native from the Lamas , with over 20 years experience in the use of traditional medicine. Descendant of a long line of healers, the knowledge he posses, has been passed down from generation to generation. Diets are used to treat people, who are physically and/or mentally tired. The diets are suitable for people, who suffer from different diseases (both physical and mental) as well as to heal addictions. Every diet starts with a tobacco leafs cleanse, commonly called purge. Diets Types
There are 02 types of diets, according to their duration:
11 days Diet (08 days of isolation in the mountains + 03 days transfer to the farm (round trip) and accommodation)
18 days Diet (15 days of isolation in the mountains + 03 days transfer to the farm (round trip) and accommodation)
Restrictions
The participation is NOT recommended for people suffering from conditions listed below:
- low physical condition
- low-immune defense,
- high or low blood pressure
- serious mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, mania)
- intake of psychotropic medication
Pre-Diet
Preparation: 01 week before the start of the diet, is strictly forbidden to eat pork or any of its derivatives, drink alcohol, have sexual relations or masturbation, eat salt, eat spicy, take drugs, smoke or chew tobacco, take medication. The Diet
All diets start (1st day) with a tobacco leafs' purge and fast throughout the day. In the evening a participant takes part in an Ayahuasca ceremony. The 2nd day the healer decides, what plant is to be used throughout the diet, and the day starts taking this plant. The take of the chosen plant during the diet, will take place between two and three times by day, depending on what the healer decides. The plants of the diet are not hallucinogenic, do not induce vomits, although some may cause some dizziness, chills and/or rashes (hives, itching). During the Diet and the Post- Diet is forbidden to use repellents, soap and shampoo; except of products which do not contain chemicals and are 100% organic. It is recommended not bring any electrical devices, mp3 players nor books, in order to disconnect and focus on the diet both physically and mentally. It is recommended but not required, to wear white garments during ceremonies and diets. Timetable (for plants in-take and food). The days with only elected plant in-take (twice a day):

The Food
The food during the diet will be based on quinoa, wheat, brown rice, boiled potato and boiled banana. The Post Diet
Preparation: once the diet is finished throughout one month, is strictly forbidden to eat pork or any of its derivatives, drink alcohol, have sexual relations or masturbate, eat salt, eat spicy food, use drugs, smoke tobacco, take medications. After the 10 days Diet, you must continue with a post diet for one month. After the 17 days Diet, you must continue with a post diet for two months. If restrictions and duration of the post diets are not complied, the effect of the diet is cut, and the person could fall sick (stomach bloating, re-occurance of the initial medical problem, which was treated during the diet). In order to recover, the person should undergo a new diet, twice as long as the first one . Both, before and after the diet, is totally safe to participate in tours/walks/trekks, also is it safe to return immediately to work . Participants
The minimum number of participants for the Diets are 05 persons, and the maximum number 11 persons. Ages
The maximum recommended age for diets is 65, and the minimum age is 18 years old. Prices

THE CEREMONIES
What they are? An ancient ritual during which Ayahuasca is ingested with healer's guidance. The ceremony is performed inside of the ceremonial maloka for a period of about 5 hours accompanied by ikaros (ceremonial songs)
