Healing the Children for Neiva, un sueño compartido

En 1993, llegó a Neiva la primera jornada de Healing the Children en la ciudad, liderada por el Ing. Carlos Fajardo Rodríguez (gestor), el Dr. Ramiro Gutiérrez Perdomo (presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Neiva), el Dr. David Hoffman (director médico de la jornada) y la presidente de la fundación, Ángeles Glick; un sueño del ingeniero Fajardo que nació al encontrarse con Juanito, un paciente que venía acompañado por “Angie” Glick en un vuelo, que compartió con su equipo de trabajo y ahora se ha convertido en el sueño de toda nuestra comunidad; desde entonces, pacientes de todo el país (en especial de la comunidad sur-colombiana) se han beneficiado de este programa que, de acuerdo a las necesidades de la región, se ha transformado en el tiempo y se ha convertido en lo que hoy conocemos como Healing the Children for Neiva, un programa que ofrece manejo integral para diferentes patologías médico-quirúrgicas (especialmente congénitas). Entre los sueños por los cuales trabajamos incansablemente, se encuentra beneficiar a la mayor población posible, un sueño que solo podremos alcanzar con el apoyo de todos.
