LOVE IS WHERE WE ORIGINATE FROM
AND WHERE WE RETURN TO . . .

Love is where we originate from and where we return to. Everything is here to be loved. Every aspect of ourselves is here to be loved. Whether it's our fear of abandonment or whether it's self-hatred.

The question is can you love the part of you that fears abandonment? Can you have compassion
for the part of you that is insecure? Should we
love a child murderer? The answer is, of course! Yes, we better love the child murderer. Clearly,
they need it more desperately than anybody. “Radiate boundless LOVE towards the entire world." Buddha.

When people are ignorant of Love they can only behave insanely, they can only do evil, wrong actions. So how can we expect someone who doesn't have love to behave any other way?

If we choose to judge the child murderer we're validating what they see in themselves. We
cannot hate anything away. We cannot hate ourselves away because what we fight we strengthen. To judge the child murderer is to create the child murderer. To judge our hatred
as being "not okay: is to create more hatred.

“HATRED IS NEVER APPEASED BY HATRED IN
THIS WORLD. BY NON-HATRED ALONE IS HATRED APPEASED. THIS IS AN LAW ETERNAL.” Buddha.

Only love can show the Truth of the situation that there is no such thing as separation. There is no actual separation. Duality: it is always an illusion.

To further our practice we can question and meditate upon "what am I not loving right now? What parts of myself have I made into an enemy?"

Jesus famously said in The Book of Matthew
"you heard it was said in the days of old that you should love your friend and hate your enemy
(Old Testament) but today I'm giving you a new commandment. That you should love your enemies, bless those who persecute you, do
good to them because in doing so you will be children of your Father."

Love is always unconditional. There's no such
thing as conditional Love. Just like the Sun doesn't discriminate on what gets it's light. The Sun just radiates in all directions and it illuminates anything that's willing to bask in its light and anything that does bask in it's light, the light of Love, receives the transformation.

The only option is to Love it. Whatever it is, it is here to be loved and it will continue asking us
to love it by projecting itself until we do. Love it whatever it was, no matter how wrong or evil we thought that it was, we/they only ever behaved that way because of the ignorance of Love.

How could we expect any other behavior?
Can you have love for yourself at that stage?
Can you forgive yourself? Not even for the action but for rejecting that part of you which committed that action?

No one is evil. Evil does not exist. There's only ignorance in the same way that darkness does
not actually exist. It is simply the absence of Light. And light expels darkness not by fighting it or hating it but by simply revealing the fact that it
was never actually there.

And likewise unconditional love casts out fear by showing us that there's no such thing as separation. When we judge ourselves we create
a boundary. When we love ourselves we remove
all boundaries and limits.

Can you have radical, relentless, genuine, unconditional love for yourself? See clearly that the Universe is not judging. God is not judging.
It's only been our own mindless, conditioned
minds who's been doing that. Don't take it personally. We are not our minds. Simply see. Observe it. Be the Witness.

For only through loving awareness can we ultimately forgive the part of ourselves that
has judged ourselves. So, if we can forgive ourselves, then we forgive the entire world in
equal proportion.

Hate or judgment cannot heal a broken heart;
only love can do that because Love is the only vibration that comes directly from the Source.

Tarawasi, Peru

Also known as Limatambo, the historic tradition suggests that Tarawasi was ordered and constructed by the Inca ruler Pachacutec with the aim of establishing an inn or retreat in the region, on the road from Chinchaysuyo.

Centered on a great platform with stone walls leaning slightly into the hill, it displays a cellular style, using interlocking granite blocks. It also includes an altar of rock or “usnu” and agricultural terraces with their own water sources and irrigation channels.

TEMAZCAL HEALING IN THE SACRED VALLEY

Takiruni Temazcal (sweatlodge) for natural detox both pre and post ancestral medicine ceremonies.

A temazcal ceremony typically happens inside of a small, pitch-black igloo-shaped hut, in which a shaman pours flower and plant essenced water over a pit of hot rocks, producing a thick aromatic v***r which envelops the sweat bath's inhabitants inside and out, through and through.

The word temazcal or temazcalli derives its origin from two words in the ancient Nahuatl language: temas, which means bath, and calli, which means house.

In Aztec culture, the goddess of the sweat bath was Temazcalteci, also known as "our grandmother."

Translated as “house of heat,” the ancient ceremony led by a shaman originated with the pre-Hispanic Indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica to purify the body and mind, heal the sick, or provide a spiritual haven for women to give birth.

A powerful ancient ritual, which forces us to face our deepest fears—whether we like it or not. Temazcal Insight: It’s interesting how despite becoming aware of our old patterns, we continue to repeat them anyway.

PHYSICAL BENEFITS:

Temazcal, like other forms of steam room, has many physical benefits. Aston University in England, for example, notes the following five pros.

FLUSHES OUT ALL TOXINS

Sweat helps to push out toxins — a catch-all name for generally harmful bodies that enter our systems. Getting rid of them can help to improve your overall well-being.

CLEARS THE SKIN

The steam produced by pouring cold water over the hot rocks helps to flush out impurities in the skin, clearing the pores and creating a smoother look. Steam rooms could also help to treat acne.

SUPPORTS WEIGHT LOSS

Increasing the amount you sweat can help you get rid of water weight. While not a cause for concern, water weight can cause bloating and be uncomfortable.

ASSISTS IN INCREASING BLOOD FLOW

The heat in a temazcal ceremony will open up your capillaries, allowing blood to move around the body more easily. This has many benefits including increased oxygen levels and lower blood pressure.

MENTAL BENEFITS:

DECREASES RISK OF DEMENTIA AND ALZHEIMER’S

Sitting in a sweat lodge is understood to decrease the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to a study published in the scientific journal Age And Ageing.

RELEASES MENTAL BURDENS

Finally, many temazcal ceremonies involve deep contemplation akin to meditation. It’s like… psychological therapy. Indeed, a very ancient ritual that we did for sanity, to be healthy, to be balanced, to stay calm in our minds.

The Peruvian and South America native world is filled with magical spirits and forces that dominate nature. This is a world where the real and the supernatural intertwine to form a unique and inseparable weave.

In relation to this mysticism, there are spiritual individuals, Andean Shamans trained to access this hyperality under altered states of mind and consciousness, which include not only the ceremonial use of entheogens, psychedelics but also ancient meditative practices and techniques. Upon their return, the Shaman brings not only clear, practicle wisdom but also profound healing.

The Andean Cosmovision is a way of perceiving and interacting with reality found in the indigenous culture of the high Andes. It is not a set of concepts or beliefs.

It cannot be described or encompassed by words. It can, however, be explored and thus it can be experienced. This exploration is accomplished through indigenous, meditative-like, processes combined with the use of ancestral plant medicines that bring into our awareness all aspects of our existence, including our mind, body and heart.

The meditations and plant medicines also nourish a loving and mutually-supportive relationship between humans and nature, bringing in as co-creators of our meditative experience the earth, the sun, the mountains, caves, the trees, the stars, the rivers, and other aspects of nature. It is a relationship between humans and nature that is not tenable within the Western worldview.

As the Andean Cosmovision and the Western worldview are based upon fundamentally different assumptions about the nature of reality, translation from one to the other is not possible. By moving to a meta-level of consideration, however, an integration of the two can be achieved.

If you feel the call to visit Peru, the sacred Valley of the Incas and to explore and experience directly higher states of consciousness, incredible healing, mind clearing and body purification in a legitimate, authentic and genuine shamanic experience contact us.

30/06/2022

A new study conducted by researchers at Yale University showed psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms can facilitate the regrowth of neurons lost in depression.

Not only that, but scientists also found that the neurons grew back 10% bigger than before. These promising results add to the growing body of evidence that psychedelics can help promote neuroplasticity and enhance neurogenesis. With safety and efficacy rigorously established in various clinical trials, psilocybin is making a powerful comeback during this modern renaissance—especially when it comes to treating depression.

Psilocybin Has Already Proven to be Effective for Depression Treatment, Now We May Know Why

World-leading institutions, such as John’s Hopkins, NYU, and the Imperial College London have shown in their groundbreaking research that psilocybin can significantly help terminally ill patients—especially for those whom traditional treatments (like SSRIs) don’t work.

The fact these terminally ill patients were able to reframe their relationship with death and overcome their deepest fears under the influence of psilocybin is certainly profound.

But how can we exactly establish the mechanism for these incredible antidepressive, effects of psilocybin? This new Yale study attempts to answer exactly this question, by proving psilocybin administration in rats induces a more robust phenomenon of neuronal regrowth.

Evaluating Experimental Design: A Closer Look at the Yale Study

Researchers in this study gave mice a single dose of psilocybin, after which they used a laser-scanning microscope to study the concentration of dendritic spines in their brains. The study found that just a single dose of psilocybin prompted an “immediate and long-lasting increase in connections between neurons.”

Indeed, changes in the dendritic spine concentration in mouse brains took place within 24 hours of psilocybin administration.
Other world-leading researchers in the field, such as Robin Carhart Harris, have clearly shown that psilocybin increases neural “crosstalk” and connectivity among parts of the brain that would otherwise be non-communicative.

As mentioned before, Yale scientists found a significant increase in the number and size of the dendritic spines, thus leading to stronger neural connections overall. Finally, mice subjected to stress also showed behavioral improvements and increased neurotransmitter activity after being given psilocybin.

Psilocybin Provides Rapid Results That Are Long Lasting

One of the most curious things about the benefits of psychedelic drugs, like psilocybin, is the fact that its therapeutic effects seem to persist long after the patient’s dose of the drug has worn off. That is to say, the increase in dendritic spines researchers noticed were still present even one full month after scientists dosed mice with the drug.
Indeed, other studies have shown drugs like Ayahuasca, a DMT containing psychedelic brew from the Amazon, also promote neurogenesis and have long-lasting effects on the brain.

Previous laboratory experiments also demonstrated that ketamine is effective in treating depression in a similar rapid, long-lasting fashion. Such findings suggest the modern psychedelic renaissance is projected to provide incredible clinical promise to the millions of people who suffer from depression around the globe.

The Ayahuasca brew—traditionally made from the bark of a vine which grows in the Amazon called Banisteriopsis caapi and leaves of a shrub called Psychotria viridis—puts people in a state of deep introspection for several hours. When they emerge, they often report newfound insights into their unhealthy behaviors.

For now, however, there’s still limited empirical data backing the extraordinary stories about the therapeutic effects of this medicine. Scientists, many of whom changed their research focus after their own astounding experiences on ayahuasca, are seeking to change that.

The studies are small, but rigorous and promising. In the largest, double-blind trial to date, which is soon to be published, 64% of participants reported significantly reduced symptoms of depression one week after a single dose of Ayahuasca.

It wasn’t long ago (April 15th to be exact) that we received the results of the first-ever controlled trial comparing psilocybin with traditional anti
epressants (SSRI). The results were published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine and the numbers bordered on revolutionary.

We now have the results of another study, this one published in the May 2021 issue of JAMA Psychiatry, and the findings are just as impressive.

New psilocybin study, similarly positive results. The study was a randomized and controlled trial conducted at the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. There were 24 participants with an average age of 40 years, and, unfortunately, an average of 22 years of depression.

The main method was the GRID Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (GRID-HAMD), a chart that measures different aspects of depression such as depressed mood, anxiety, guilt, sleep and appetite disturbances, and suicidal tendencies.

The participants in the treatment group were given, in the words of the study, “two psilocybin sessions…. in the context of supportive psychotherapy (approximately 11 hours). During these psilocybin-assisted therapy sessions, participants were instructed to lie down and try to focus on their inner experiences. Sleep masks and music were used to facilitate inward reflection.”

Because the clinical trial process for most psychedelic medicine companies is still, at best, in Phase 2, it’s up to independent medical studies to fill the gap and help shift the scientific consensus. And this study adds more positive results in the mushroom column.

The results: The majority of patients in the psilocybin group reported a clinically significant response (a decrease of 50% or more in GRID-HAMD scores), specifically 71% one week after the psilocybin session, and the same 71%, four weeks after the psilocybin session. That’s almost three-quarters of patients reporting feeling significantly better a month after treatment.

As for remission of other depressive symptoms, over 50% reported significant improvement, and similar results were found for secondary outcomes (anxiety scores).
