Does the Liver Benefit from Coconut Oil.

Coconut oil may harbor some exciting protective effects for the liver.

Media coverage of coconut oil’s health benefits seems to be emerging at an increasing rate. Once ignored in the health arena because it is a saturated fat, research over the past several years has changed our perspective of coconut oil. Used both orally and topically, coconut oil has been found to improve the skin, cholesterol, immune, dental and metabolic health. Adding to the hype around this solid-at-room-temperature lipid, coconut oil has recently demonstrated an ability to help keep the liver healthy.

What Is Coconut Oil?

Grown in coconut palm trees, coconuts are a staple in tropical climates. While practical uses have evolved for every part of the coconut, coconut oil is derived from the coconut’s meat. When having a discussion about coconut oil, it is important to distinguish between the two main types of coconut oil:

1: Virgin coconut oil is extracted from the fruit of fresh mature coconuts without using high temperatures or chemicals.

2: Refined coconut oil is made from dried coconut meat that’s often chemically bleached and deodorized, raising its smoke point and reducing coconut taste.

Refined coconut oil may be partially hydrogenated. Hydrogenation is the process of heating oil and passing hydrogen bubbles through it to increase the oil’s density. Partial hydrogenation creates trans fats, which are known contributors to high cholesterol and they raise heart disease risk. Partial hydrogenation also destroys many of the good fatty acids, antioxidants and other positive components present in virgin coconut oil.

The Fat Content of Coconut Oil

Pure, virgin, coconut oil contains 92 percent saturated fat – the highest proportion of saturated fat of any fat. In general, saturated fats tend to:

1: be solid at room temperature.
2: be found in animal products.
3: contain cholesterol.

However, the saturated fat in coconut oil differs from most fats because it contains a unique blend of short and medium-chain fatty acids. Medium-chain fatty acids have an unusual chemical structure that allows the body to digest them easily. Most fats are broken down in the intestine, transformed and transported into the bloodstream. On the other hand, medium-chain fatty acids are absorbed intact and taken to the liver, where they are used directly for energy.

Coconut oil is also higher than other fats in lauric acid. Lauric acid may play a role in the oil’s effect of raising blood levels of HDL cholesterol, the type of cholesterol that is good for your heart.

Coconut Oil and the Liver

Various claims have been made for the benefits of pure, virgin, coconut oil; but liver health is a relatively new contender. Experts believe the presence of medium-chain fatty acids helps prevent liver disease because they are easily converted into energy when they reach the liver. This benefits the liver in two ways:

The conversion of fatty acids into energy reduces the liver’s workload.By transforming into energy instead of entering the bloodstream, fat accumulation in the liver is prevented.

In addition, coconut oil has been documented to have antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Some scholars suspect that coconut oil’s antimicrobial abilities helps destroy microbes and minimizes free radical formation in the liver. The deficiency of reproducible, double blind, human studies on virgin coconut oil’s benefits to the liver prevents it from being a mainstream recommendation. Nonetheless, the evidence is slowly building:

According to an animal study published in a May 2014 edition of the Journal of Basic and Clinical Physiology and Pharmacology, the active components of coconut oil had protective effects against toxicity in the liver.

In another animal study published in a 2011 edition of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, researchers found that virgin coconut oil protected the liver from damage typically caused by paracetamol (a known liver toxin).

Food for Thought

"Approximately 50% of the fatty acids in Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil (UVCO) are lauric acid. Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid, which has the additional beneficial function of being formed into monolaurin in the human or animal body. Monolaurin is the anti-viral, antibacterial, and antiprotozoal monoglyceride used by the human or animal to destroy lipid coated viruses such as HIV, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza, various pathogenic bacteria including listeria monocytogenes and heliobacter pylori, and protozoa such as giardia lamblia. Some studies have also shown some antimicrobial effects of the free lauric acid.

Janice and her black spots or dots and Acne.

Janice is a beutiful young lady, had everything going for, academically sound, loving personality, nice supporting family. But she had one problem and that was the blackspots and acne that riddled her face. She had tryed every cosmetic solution both home and lab formulated.

When her mother heard about our UVCO oil, she got a bottle and started applying it on Janices acne and black spot face. Within one week she ripped positive results.

Our UVCO oil contains around 50-55% of lauric, caprylic, oleic, myristic, capric, palmitic and stearic acid, vitamins A, E, D, calcium, phosphorus, and many other useful minerals. Due to such a rich chemical composition our UVCO is very helpful for skin care:

Nourishing and moisturizing are the most important features of UVCO oil. This is the reason why coconut oil is present on the shelves of people who have dry skin, which suffers from lack of moisture;

The main reason for the efficiency of Unrefined Virgin Coconut (UVCO) Oil for face acne is its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action. Penetrating into the skin, oil kills germs and bacteria, neutralizes the inflammation, and helps pimples to point;
😊UVCO oil for skin acne has regenerating and clarifying properties. This makes using UVCO oil for acne an exceptionally good solution;
😍It helps remove stains, marks, acne scars and black dots. UVCO Oil clarifies the remnants of acne and encourages the skin to heal quickly.

😎These properties of oil help to remove black dots;

Due to its protective property it is very efficient. When you spread some oil on your skin it easily forms a tiny film which protects you from harmful effects of the environment;
It is worth mentioning that skin quickly absorbs oil without it clogging ducts.

Application:

Simple dab a little UVCO oil on affected areas once or twice a day.

Not all VCO oils are same. Our UVCO oil is non hrat treated, therefore it maintains its natural medicinal properties. Because heat kills.

To recognize low-quality coconut oil remember a few tips:

😆UVCO oil must be transparent.
😠Yellowish or brownish colour means that the oil is fake or of a poor quality;
😈Do not buy too cheap oil. Price is also one of the criteria. Cheap oils are almost always of poor quality;
😧The aroma should not be poignant. Coconut oil of high quality smells faintly.

Call us or email us for your UVCO oil now.

Janice is now happy and confident. NO MORE black spots and acne thanks to our UVCO oil...☺

Varicose veins may not cause any pain. Signs you may have with varicose veins include:

Veins that are dark purple or blue in color
Veins that appear twisted and bulging; often like cords on your legs

When painful signs and symptoms occur, they may include:

An achy or heavy feeling in your legs
Burning, throbbing, muscle cramping and swelling in your lower legs

Worsened pain after sitting or standing for a long time

Itching around one or more of your veins

Bleeding from varicose veins

A painful cord in the vein with red discoloration of the skin

Color changes, hardening of the vein, inflammation of the skin or skin ulcers near your ankle, which can mean you have a serious form of vascular disease that requires medical attention.

Causes

Arteries carry blood from your heart to the rest of your tissues. Veins return blood from the rest of your body to your heart, so the blood can be recirculated. To return blood to your heart, the veins in your legs must work against gravity.

Muscle contractions in your lower legs act as pumps, and elastic vein walls help blood return to your heart. Tiny valves in your veins open as blood flows toward your heart then close to stop blood from flowing backward.

Applying, rubbing in UVCO to affected area will assist in the restructure of the veins and furthermore erradicate the pain. From our experience a 3 day application has ripped satisfactory results.
