On March 21, 2026, the Baquiran Merano Medical Clinic and Physical Therapy Service actively participated in the “Miles for Smiles” Autism Awareness and Celebration Color Fun Run held at Agoo Eco Park. The event was organized by EJL Child Development Center Inc., under the leadership of Ms. Lhiezel Mangaoang, with the aim of promoting awareness, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism through a fun and engaging community activity.
The clinic’s participation was centered on providing a medical mission to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. The medical team was led by Dra. Mylyn Baquiran Merano, accompanied by one nurse and support staff. They set up a designated area within the venue where participants, teachers, and event organizers could avail themselves of free medical services.
The medical mission officially started at 7:00 AM and concluded at 10:00 AM. During this time, the clinic offered free consultations and vital signs monitoring, including blood pressure checks and general health assessments. These services were extended to all fun run participants as well as teachers and staff from the organizing institution. The team attended to various minor concerns, ensured participants were fit for physical activity, and provided health advice when necessary.
