At Para sa mga kasamahan nateng Persons with Disabilities, wag po tayong magpa gamit sa mga nangangampanya. Suriin nateng maigi Kung sino ba ang tunay na may malasakit sa ating sektor.

Lagi pong magiingat. Sundin at lagging obserbahan ang mga safety protocols.

Panatilihin ang social and physical distancing. Ugaliin ang paghuhugas at pagsanitize ng kamay. Palaging magsuot ng face mask.

At kung hindi ka pa bakuna do, magpabakuna na. Magtanong sa RHU Aguilar o sa inyong barangay.

Nais po nating bigyang linaw ang kumakalat na impormasyon na may ilang bayan/siyudad sa ating lalawigan na inirekomenda “for lockdown”.

Bagama’t ang mga nasabing bayan/siyudad ay umabot na sa 25% threshold ng Omnibus Guidelines ng National IATF, hindi ito nangangahulugan ng automatikong “lockdown” o kaya’y pagtaas ng antas ng quarantine classification ng bayan/siyudad.

Ang Provincial IATF Covid Management Team ay nanawagan sa mga Local Chief Executives ng mga apektadong bayan/siyudad na mag-sumite ng inyong request para sa kinakailangang higher quarantine classification sa inyong mga nasasakupan, ayon sa rekomendasyon ng inyong municipal IATF.

Ang nasabing request mula sa alkalde o municipal IATF ng apektadong bayan/siyudad ang magsisilbing pangunahing konsiderasyon ng Provincial IATF Covid Management Team sa pagdedeklara ng angkop na quarantine classification para sa apektadong bayan/siyudad.

The Province of Pangasinan (Official) through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, in partnership with Physicians for Peace, Mahaveer Foundation. and Walking Free Foundation, with the utmost support of Gov. Amado I. Espino, III and Mr. Emilio P. Samson, Jr., RSW, the hard work of Ms. Judith V. Cabillo and the Pangasinan Federation of Persons with Disabilities, 2 prosthesis(artificial leg) and 2 high end pediatric wheelchair was given to 4 PWDs in the Municipality of Aguilar.

These assistive devices brought smiles on their faces and brought new hope in this time of pandemic.

Thankful with the support of MSWDO Aguilar. In the photos were the 4 beneficiaries along with Luckylyn F. Zamora, PDAO Designate, Alvin L. Abelgas, PWD President and staff of MSWDO Aguilar.

PUBLIC RIDICULE – For purposes of this chapter, public ridicule shall be defined as an act of making fun or contemptuous imitating or making mockery of persons with disability whether in writing, or in words, or in action due to their impairment/s.

Its about time that we stop this toxic culture of making fun of Persons with Disability. We just have certain limitations but you need not to magnify our disabilities.

Today, May 10, 2021, the Aguilar Federation of Persons with Disability officers headed by its President, Alvin L. Abelgas, with the utmost support of LGU Aguilar's MSWDO, Ms. Joan Jenny M. Garacho, RSW and the PWD Focal person, Luckylyn F. Zamora, attended the Public Hearing for the proposed PWD monthly allowance in the town of Aguilar. Insights were shared and pleas were heard.

Hoping that the Sangguniaang Bayan ng Aguilar will soon turn this proposal into an ordinance. Thank you in advanced to this team, headed by Vice Mayor Jesus Zamuco, Jr.

Also this day, the federation officers had a very successful meeting about the upcoming NDPR Week celebration and other concerns.

Today, March 26th, attended by 10 of 16 Barangay PWD Presidents, the Aguilar Federation of Persons with Disability had a very fruitful 1st Quarter meeting discussing how we can better the lives of the PWDs in times of crisis, like this pandemic.

Thankful to the hard work of our MSWDO, Ms. Joan Jenny M. Garacho,RSW, LLB and the support of our Municipal Mayor Roldan C. Sagles. DMD.
