Currently attending the 3-day Disability Summit, a powerful gathering focused on empowerment, rights, and inclusive development for our community.
​I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) for the provision of a computer desktop. This equipment will be instrumental in maintaining our local PWD database and ensuring that our services are data-driven and inclusive. 💻✨
​A special note of gratitude to PDAO Pangasinan headed by Ma'am Jennifer Vee Garcia for their leadership and for ensuring that programs like these reach those who need them most across the province.
​I am also incredibly thankful for the local support from our Municipal Government. To our Municipal Mayor Hon. Kristal Ballesteros-Soriano and the dedicated MSWDO Ma'am Joan M-g , thank you for your commitment to the welfare of PWDs in our municipality. Your dedication to grassroots service ensures that no one is left behind in our municipality.

In observance of the 2026 Autism Celebration Month, the PWD Outreach Program is currently being implemented through the strong collaboration between the Municipal Health Office, headed by Dra. Wilma Peralta, and Barangay Manlocboc Brgy. Captain Jonathan P. Fernandez. This ongoing initiative is providing timely, inclusive, and essential services to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), with particular attention to individuals on the autism spectrum.

A key highlight of the outreach is the provision of free medical checkups and the distribution of essential medicines, ensuring immediate health support for PWD beneficiaries. Complementing these services is the issuance of PWD Identification Cards and PWD Booklets, an initiative spearheaded by the PWD President, Luckylyn F. Zamora, which enables beneficiaries to access government-mandated benefits, privileges, and programs.

The active participation, professionalism, and shared commitment of the Municipal Health Office, barangay officials, and PWD leadership reflect a unified and responsive approach to community service. This collaborative effort, presently being carried out as part of the 2026 Autism Celebration Month, underscores the importance of inter-agency cooperation in promoting health, inclusion, awareness, and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Sincere appreciation is extended to Ms.Joan Jenny M. Garacho, MSWDO and most especially to our Municipal Mayor Hon. Kristal Ballesteros Soriano ,partners, and individuals involved for their unwavering support and dedication in making this ongoing outreach meaningful and impactful for the PWD community.
