VISION:
The vision of the FLWI is to be a catalyst for strengthening families, to help them advocate for their needs and situations within the community at large, given the pivotal role they play in establishing a stable and thriving Christian-centered community. Therefore, FLWI works for the best interest and welfare of families within the community by proactively engaging the participation and involvement of community leaders (barangay, neighborhood associations, parishes and the Vicariate, local officials and the business sectors)
MISSION:
The Family Life and Wellness Institute states the following mission:
-To provide an educational opportunity for community workers and other professionals to pursue Master's degree in areas of family life and family wellness
-To provide interventions and services such as health, psychological assessment and therapies for individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations at its center
-To develop families within the community in their efforts to achieve their highest potential in emotional stability, physical fitness, mental health, cultural awareness, spirituality, and quality of life
-To provide educational and outreach programs offering growth in God-centered, spiritual living to a wide variety of persons and community groups (marital couples, family, children, adolescents, professionals, mid-lifers, senior citizens, etc.) thereby strengthening the wholeness and quality of family life and family environment
-To integrate knowledge of counseling, coaching, spirituality with the highest levels of clinical and pastoral skills in various community settings
-To engage in research and scholarly studies in the areas of family life, family wellness and family environment for professional advancement
-To strengthen family relationships in globally competitive village where diversity creates unity and respect among individuals
