SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC Successfully Passes Stage 1 ISO 9001:2015 Audit

On December 9, 2024, the SOCCSKSARGEN Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center underwent the Stage 1 external audit for ISO 9001:2015 certification. The audit was conducted by a distinguished team from TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc., led by Ms. Mary Danica Pelone, the Lead Auditor, and Ms. Rhea Marie Tolentino, RMT, the Technical Expert. This evaluation marked a significant milestone in the center's commitment to adopting internationally recognized quality management standards.

The audit team conducted a thorough assessment of the center's readiness for certification, evaluating the alignment of its systems, processes, and controls with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Key aspects of the evaluation included the center's adherence to documented procedures and overall effectiveness in delivering quality services to its clients and stakeholders. The audit team commended the center's robust organizational structure and strategic efforts, affirming its readiness to proceed to the next stage of the certification process.

With the successful completion of the Stage 1 audit, the SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC has demonstrated its commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The center now looks ahead to the Stage 2 audit, where it will further highlight its operational efficiency and ability to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. This achievement reflects the collective effort and dedication of the entire team, underscores the center's unity in striving to become a leading specialized drug abuse treatment and rehabilitation facility, and reinforces its progress toward obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification

SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC Celebrates Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week 2024

November 20, 2021 - The Atrium of Robinsons Place General Santos City came alive with vibrant activities and meaningful discussions as SOCCSKSARGEN Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center celebrated the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2024. Anchored on the theme, “Prioritizing Health-Based Approach in Drug Use Prevention and Control,” the event brought together stakeholders, government agencies, members of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADAC), and DATRC clients to promote a unified and compassionate approach to combating drug abuse through a health-centered perspective.

The morning program highlighted impactful messages from our esteemed guest speakers and a series of engaging performances by the PNP PRO 12 Dance Ensemble, SOCCSKSARGEN Bini Dancers and a duet singing number by the talented DATRC staff. One of the highlights of the event was a symposium led by Dr. Kevin Patrick Veneracion, MBA, who delivered an insightful lecture on mental health and strategies for preventing drug use, emphasizing the importance of holistic and health-based interventions.

In the afternoon, attendees enjoyed interactive games, exciting raffles, and opportunities to connect with one another while exploring the services and initiatives of various groups advocating for drug prevention and rehabilitation. This celebration reflects our collective commitment to fostering a healthier, drug-free society.

SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of DAPC Week 2024. Together, we continue to build a healthier, drug-free community that prioritizes wellness and recovery.

SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC Holds its 3rd Aftercare Completion Ceremony

The SOCCSKSARGEN Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center holds its 3rd Completion Ceremony for Aftercare clients today, June 27, 2024. The ceremony, themed "Strength in Serenity: Embracing Peaceful Paths," honored the graduation of eight clients who had successfully completed their rehabilitation journeys.

The ceremony was graced by notable guests, including the BADAC Representatives and special guest, PLT. COL. Daryl Aranton of PNP Drug Enforcement Group Region XII. Attending on behalf of PLT. COL. Daryl G. Aranton was PCAPT. Willie DC Dangane, Jr. Their presence underscored the significance of the event and the collective efforts in the fight against substance abuse.

One of the graduates expressed heartfelt words of gratitude, saying, "This journey has been incredibly challenging, but with the unwavering support of the rehabilitation center and my loved ones, I have found strength in serenity. I am deeply grateful for this new beginning and the peaceful path I am now on."

In response, a family member of one of the graduates shared a heartfelt message: "Seeing our loved one transform and embrace a peaceful and healthier life is a blessing beyond words. We extend our deepest gratitude to the SOCCSKSARGEN DATRC team for their dedication and support in making this possible."

The event celebrated not only the successes of the clients but also highlighted the essential role of community support in promoting rehabilitation. It emphasized the importance of continuous encouragement for those on the path to recovery, reflecting the community's dedication to combating substance abuse.

Overall, the 3rd Aftercare Completion Ceremony was a moving occasion, honoring the transformative journeys of the graduates and reinforcing the message of hope and triumph over adversity.
