📣 Successful Launching of Purokalusugan in Brgy. San Pedro 📣

The Municipal Health Office of Albuera proudly announces the successful launching of Purokalusugan in Barangay San Pedro.

PuroKalusugan's primary goal is to deliver healthcare services directly to the residents of each purok, making it more convenient for them to access essential medical care.

The program offers a range of services, including nutrition assessment and counseling, immunization, maternal health services (including free HIV screening), WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs, TB prevention and treatment, and general consultations for conditions like hypertension and diabetes.

🩺 SUCCESSFUL OPERATION TULI 2025 🩺
Rural Health Unit – Albuera, Leyte
📆 May 22–23, 2025
👦 Total Beneficiaries: 172 brave young boys

We are proud to announce the successful conduct of our 2-day Operation Tuli held last May 22–23, 2025, facilitated by the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Albuera, with the presence and supervision of Dr. Jesus Castro.

This health initiative, aimed at promoting hygiene and preventive care among young males, catered to a total of 172 participants. The activity would not have been possible without the leadership and dedication of our health team:

Kasunod ng pinaigting na surveillance dahil sa deklarasyon ng World Health Organization sa mpox (dating monkeypox) bilang isang Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), nakapagtala ang DOH ng isang bagong kaso ng mpox sa Pilipinas. Bago ito, ang huling kaso ay naiulat noong Disyembre 2023. Ang lahat ng mga naunang kaso ay na-isolate, naagapan, at gumaling na sa sakit.

Mula sa Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) protektahan ang sarili at ang ang buong pamilya laban sa sakit at maling impormasyon. Maging handa sa banta ng mpox - sundin at tignan ang ilang Health Reminders sa mga larawan.
