📢 Magsugod na ang School-Based Immunization karong Oktubre 7!

Hatagi ang imong anak ug proteksyon alang sa maayong kaugmaon! Karong Oktubre, maghatag ta og importante nga bakuna aron maprotektahan ang atong mga anak batok sa seryosong mga sakit.

💉 Mga Bakuna nga Ihatag:

Measles-Rubella (MR) ug Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) para sa tanang estudyante sa Grade 1 ug Grade 7
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) para sa piniling mga estudyante sa Grade 4

🌟 Ngano Kinahanglan Bakunahan ang Imong Anak?

*Proteksyon Batok sa Seryosong mga Sakit: Ang mga bakuna makapugong sa delikadong mga sakit sama sa tigdas, rubella, tetanus, ug diphtheria nga mahimong hinungdan sa dugay nga komplikasyon.

*Makapalig-on sa Imyunidad: Ang mga bakuna makatabang sa pagtukod og kusgang depensa sa lawas sa imong anak, pagpakunhod sa risgo nga masakit.

*Luwas ug Epektibo: Ang mga bakuna nga ihatag sa eskuylahan gisusi ug luwas alang sa mga bata. Ang mga benepisyo mas labaw pa sa gamay nga mga side effects.

*Pagpugong sa Pagkatag sa mga Sakit: Pinaagi sa pagpabakuna sa imong anak, makatabang ka usab sa pagpanalipod sa uban pang mga bata ug mga miyembro sa pamilya pinaagi sa pagpakunhod sa pagkuyanap sa mga impeksyon.

*Proteksyon sa HPV para sa mga Batang Babaye: Ang HPV vaccine makatabang sa pagpugong sa cervical cancer ug uban pang mga kondisyon nga may kalambigitan sa HPV sa umaabot.

Ayaw imiss ang higayon nga maprotektahan ang kahimsog sa imong anak! Siguraduhang andam sila alang sa umaabot nga School-Based Immunization Program nga magsugod karong Oktubre 7.

Kung naa kay mga pangutana, palihug kontaka ang eskuylahan sa imong anak o ang imong lokal nga health center. Atong siguruhon nga himsog ug andam sa pag-eskwela ang atong mga anak!

Ito ay programa ng Kagawaran ng Kalusugan sa pakikipagtulungan sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, na layuning protektahan ang mga kabataan laban sa mga sakit na maaaring iwasan sa pamamagitan ng bakuna tulad ng Measles, Rubella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, at Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

Ngayong Oktubre, pabakunahan na ang inyong mga anak sa mga public elementary schools.. Pirmahan na ang consent form para sila ay mapa-bakunahan!

: also known as whooping cough,
is a highly contagious bacterial disease. It is highly contagious in the early catarrhal stage, before paroxysmal cough. Incubation period is usually 7 days but it ranges from 5 to 15 days.

CAUSE
Bordetella pertussis bacteria

MODE OF TRANSMISSION
Acquired primarily through direct contact with discharges from respiratory mucus membranes of infected persons (The bacteria may be spread through droplets and indirect contact with articles freshly soiled with the discharges of infected persons.)

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS
• Cough persisting 2 or more weeks
• Fits of coughing
• Cough followed by vomiting

TREATMENT
Antibiotics may shorten the period of communicability from 7 days after exposure to 3 weeks after onset of typical paroxysms to only 5-7 days after onset therapy.

PREVENTION
Three primary immunization doses of DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis vaccine) confer immunity to pertussis. Booster doses are recommended to be given after 1 year old, 4-6 years old, and at 11 years old.

The 5-in-1 vaccine, also known as the DTaP/IPV/Hib vaccine, is one of the first vaccines that your baby will have. It's a single injection which protects them against five serious childhood diseases.
These five illnesses are diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough (pertussis), polio, and Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type b).

This Penta/5-in-1 immunization is available in health centers nationwide.
