Last August 7 & 8, 2023, ALEOSAN District Hospital conducted the launching of "The Wellness Movement Program" for health care workers. It was attended by Dr. Paz Calopiz (Provincial Government Department Head), Ms. May Q. Eligio (HMO- Nurse II), Dr. Cherubim Estrellanes (ADH- Chief of Hospital II) and Ms. Ma Azucena Amantillo Lamigo (ADH- Chief Nurse).
This program of Department of Health is in partnership with AHA! Behavioral Design, a behavioral research, design, consulting and activation leader in the country. They specialize in identifying and influencing communities and organizations' behaviors for their personal efficacy and professional productivity that lead to success.
The Wellness Movement Program aims to improve their mental health by building individual resilience through provision of Wellness Kits.
ALEOSAN District Hospital was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the hospitals to participate in The Wellness Program. During the launching days, first 100 employees received the wellness kit and they were officially called "Wellness Warriors". Upon receiving the wellness kits, they were oriented with tools and guided with relaxation techniques.
This big event was made possible because of the support and cooperation of all ADH employees, headed by Chief of Hospital, Chief Nurse, in coordination with Mrs. Cristina Alfeche Oberio (Administrative Officer V), with the special participation of April Lou Franco, Jennefer Cañonero and Christine Grace Saclauso-Nepucpan (The Super Healers).
