𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦. 🩺

The Altavas RHU team went to Brgy. Cabugao, Altavas, Aklan for a Barangay Health Consultation. To make basic care more accessible, we brought services directly to the barangay:

𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for all residents
𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 for common conditions
𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 including RBS and Uric Acid

Access to health services shouldn’t depend on distance. That’s why we continue to bring programs like this to our communities.

Special thanks to Cabugao Brgy. Council together with our BHWs and BNS. Your coordination and support ensured the activity ran smoothly and reached those who needed it.

Altavas Rural Health Unit and Birthing Center goes to Odiong, Altavas, Aklan, for PuroKalusugan Large Scale Activity, today April 30, 2026.

PuroKalusugan’s initiative focuses on the DOH’s 8 Health Priorities, ensuring comprehensive care for all ages:

✅ Immunization: Keeping our children safe from vaccine-preventable diseases.
✅ Nutrition Support: Providing vitamins and counseling for healthy growth.
✅ Maternal Health: Ensuring safe pregnancies and post-natal care.
✅ Disease Screening: Early detection and testing for TB, HIV, and non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension.
✅ Health Education: Empowering families with the right information to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Special thanks to Odiong Barangay Council together with the BHWs and BNS for the support in making this event possible. 🙌

The Altavas Rural Health Unit and Birthing Center successfully concluded the second and final day of Operation Tuli 2026, providing free and safe circumcision services to our remaining adolescent clients.

All procedures were performed by trained health personnel following strict sterile techniques. Each client received free post-operative medicines and detailed home care instructions for faster healing and recovery.

Our special thanks to Mayor Denny D. Refol Sr., Vice Mayor Joseph Jencon Flores, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members for their unwavering support, including the provision of additional medicines for our clients. We also thank Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon and Edna Abella for their generous support to this activity. Our appreciation likewise goes to the Poblacion Barangay Health Workers for their invaluable help in mobilizing clients and ensuring the smooth flow of activities.

Most importantly, thank you to the parents and guardians for entrusting the health of your children to our team.

Operation Tuli 2026 officially wraps up yesterday. For those who underwent the procedure, please follow the post-op instructions and visit the RHU if you have any concerns.

The Altavas Rural Health Unit and Birthing Center successfully launched the first day of Operation Tuli 2026, providing free and safe circumcision services to adolescent clients.

All procedures were performed by trained health personnel following strict sterile techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of every client. After the procedure, each client received free post-operative medicines and detailed home care instructions for faster healing and recovery.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the nurses of Godofredo P. Ramos Hospital for their valuable contribution to this activity. Our special thanks to Mayor Denny D. Refol Sr., Vice Mayor Joseph Jencon Flores, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members for their unwavering support, including the provision of additional medicines for our clients. We also thank Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon and Edna Abella for their generous support to this activity.
