SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF WORLD AIDS DAY ACTIVITIES
We thank God for the successful conduct of the World AIDS Day Activities held today at the Angadanan Community Center. Despite earlier rainfall, the weather significantly improved during the actual fun run, allowing the activity to proceed smoothly and ensuring that participants were able to complete the run safely and without getting wet.
The event featured a variety of meaningful and engaging activities aimed at promoting HIV/AIDS awareness and solidarity. These included a Fun Run, Free HIV Screening, Infographic Exhibit, Photo Booth, Personalized Keychains, and a Solidarity Wall, which allowed participants to express their support and commitment in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
A significant highlight of the program was the “Panunumpa ng Kabataan”, led by Ms. Adassah Shen Lopez Zuela, Ms. Angadanan, which reinforced youth commitment to HIV awareness and prevention. The event was further energized by a live performance by Mico Domingo, adding inspiration and engagement to the celebration.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, and partner agencies who contributed to the success of the activity. Special appreciation is given to the PNP Angadanan and the 205th Maneuver Company for ensuring peace, order, and safety throughout the event.
We also sincerely thank the Loria Zumba Mommies for leading the warm-up and stretching exercises, which helped prepare and energize participants before the fun run.
The activity was headed by the Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Princess Faith P. Penetrante., with the strong leadership and full support of the Municipal Mayor Joelle Mathea Panganiban , whose continued commitment plays a vital role in strengthening health promotion and HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives in the municipality.
Once again, our deepest appreciation to everyone who made this activity possible. Together, we continue to stand united in the fight against HIV/AIDS and in building a healthier, more informed community.
