Isa sa mga pangunahing dahilan ng patuloy na pagtaas ng cervical cancer ay ang kakulangan sa regular screening (Pap test) at kakaulangan sa pagbabakuna kontra HPV ng mga kababaihan

Ano Ang PCOS o Polycystic O***y Syndrome

Ito ay isang karaniwan at kumplikadong hormonal disorder na nakakaapekto sa mga babae na nasa reproductive age (edad na maaaring magkaanak).
Narito ang ilang mahahalagang detalye tungkol dito:
Ano ang Nangyayari?
• Ang mga obaryo (ovaries) ng babae ay gumagawa ng mas maraming male hormones (androgens) kaysa sa normal.
• Dahil sa hormonal imbalance na ito, ang ovulation (ang paglabas ng egg cell bawat buwan) ay maaaring maging hindi regular o tuluyang huminto.
• Ang hindi maayos na ovulation ay maaaring magdulot ng pagbuo ng maraming maliliit na cyst (sacs na may likido) sa mga obaryo, kaya tinawag itong polycystic.

Mahalagang Tandaan: Kung iniisip mong mayroon kang PCOS, pinakamahusay na kumunsulta sa isang doktor (OB-Gyne) para sa tamang pagsusuri at plano ng paggamot.

Ang Pagbubuntis

Ano ang pagbubuntis?

Ang pagbubuntis ay kapag ang isang namumuong sanggol ay tumutubo at lumalaki sa loob ng bahay-bata. Ang pagbubuntis ay tumatagal ng halos 40 linggo at nahahati sa tatlong “trimester” (yugto) na tumatagal ng humigit-kumulang 13 linggo bawat isa (trimester).

Unang trimester o yugto (linggo 1-12),

Ikalawang trimester o yugto (linggo 13-28), at

Ikatlibg trimester o yugto (linggo 29-40), bawat isa ay minarkahan ng mahalagang pag-unlad ng fetus at mga pagbabago sa ina.

Ang regular na pag konsulta o ng prenatal care ay mahalaga para sa isang malusog na pagbubuntis.

Ang pagbubuntis ay tumutukoy sa panahon kung kailan may nabubuong sanggol (o higit sa isa) na lumalako sa iyong sinapupunan (matris o bahay-bata). Kadalasan itong nangyayari pagkatapos ng pakikipagtalik, ngunit maaari rin itong mangyari sa pamamagitan ng mga assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs). Ang isang pregnancy test na nabibili sa botika ang pinakakaraniwang paraan upang kumpirmahin ang pagbubuntis, ngunit maaari mo ring kumpirmahin na buntis ka sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuri ng dugo. Ang ilan sa mga unang senyales ng pagbubuntis ay ang pagkawala ng regla, pagduduwal at pagkapagod.
Karamihan sa mga pagbubuntis ay maaaring magresulta sa isang buhay na sanggol — pagsisilang ng sanggol sa pamamagaitan ng (normal)va**nal delivery o C-section. Ang ilang mga pagbubuntis ay nagtatapos sa pagka laglag (miscarriage) o pagkamatay ( IUFD or intrauterine fetal demise) ng sanggol sa sinapupunan.

Improper lifestyle patterns, dietary habits, and genetic factors can increase the incidence. ��Inadequate coverage of cervical cancer screening and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination contributes to high incidence rates of cervical cancer. ��
Reduce your risk of female ge***al cancers by getting regular pelvic exams and Pap tests, get the HPV vaccine, and Don't smoke.

Visit your Obstetrician- Gynecologist for a proper work up. Your (va**nal) bleeding or heavy and prolonged menstruation may be an early sign of hormonal umbalance or early ge***al tract/pelvic malignancy.

Basically, gynecological cancer occurs anytime there is a mass of abnormal cells exhibiting uncontrolled growth.
