Latest reporting from the CDC shows this year’s flu season is the deadliest non-pandemic flu season for U.S. children. 216 children have died. This number passed last year’s flu season, which set a previous high for a non-pandemic season with 207 pediatric deaths. Even with seasonal flu activity declining since its February peak, AAP and CDC recommend everyone six months and older get vaccinated against the flu. Kasunod ng pinaigting na surveillance dahil sa deklarasyon ng World Health Organization sa mpox (dating monkeypox) bilang isang Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), nakapagtala ang DOH ng isang bagong kaso ng mpox sa Pilipinas. Bago ito, ang huling kaso ay naiulat noong Disyembre 2023. Ang lahat ng mga naunang kaso ay na-isolate, naagapan, at gumaling na sa sakit.

Mula sa Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH) protektahan ang sarili at ang ang buong pamilya laban sa sakit at maling impormasyon. Maging handa sa banta ng mpox - sundin at tignan ang ilang Health Reminders sa mga larawan.
