We are absolutely thrilled to share that one of our recent patients just achieved 20/15 vision after their LASIK procedure! 🌟

What does that mean? It means they can clearly read from 20 feet away what a person with "perfect" 20/20 vision has to step up to 15 feet to see.

Why do we do so many tests before laser eye surgery? Because every cornea is a unique map!

Today’s case was a great example of why customization matters. Based on the patient’s topography and risk calculation, I decided to pivot from LASIK to Trans-PRK.

Trans-PRK is a "touchless" procedure that is excellent for patients with thinner corneas or specific topographical patterns. It allows us to achieve that 20/Happy goal while keeping the "foundation" of the eye strong.
