πŸ•ŠοΈ In Loving Memory of Jay πŸ•ŠοΈ

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Jay's passing. This morning, April 2, Jay's small and young body succumbed to sepsis. Despite the efforts to replace his catheter and treat the infection that had accumulated, Jay's health deteriorated rapidly.

Tragically, while his father was preparing for another dialysis session today, he discovered that Jay had stopped breathing. Our hearts ache with grief for this devastating loss.

As we mourn Jay's passing, we are committed to honoring his memory and giving him the beautiful and peaceful farewell he deserves. However, we still need your support.

We humbly ask for donations to help cover the expenses for Jay's funeral arrangements. Your generosity will ensure that Jay's journey on this earth is marked with dignity and love.

Please keep Jay's family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Let us come together to support them as they navigate through this profound loss.

Rest in peace, dear Jay. You will forever remain in our hearts.

These were the last pictures taken of Jay. Thank you so much to all the doctors amd Nurses of Saint Mary Kidney Care, Inc (Angeles, Pampanga). God bless all of you! We also thank those who donated and shared his story. ❀️

⭐⭐Update on Jay's Health 🌟🌟

We have an important update regarding Jay's journey on battling CKD. After being admitted to the hospital last week, we are relieved to share that Jay has been discharged. However, this is far from over.

Unfortunately, the donation fund for Jay is now at ZERO. This means he is facing a challenging road ahead, especially financially. Jay still requires ongoing medical care and dialysis sessions to ensure his continued recovery.

We kindly ask for your help once again. Please consider donating whatever you can to support Jay's medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in his life.

Additionally, we urge you to actively share Jay's story on social media platforms. By spreading the word, we can reach more people who may be able to offer assistance or support in any way possible.

Your generosity and compassion are greatly appreciated.

Please DM us for details on how to donate. God bless! β€οΈπŸ™

πŸ™ Urgent Prayer Request for Jay πŸ™

It's with a heavy heart that we share an update on Jay's health. His catheter on his neck had to be changed due to an abscess and biofilm, indicating a serious infection. The new catheter alone costs 10,000 pesos, and Jay's health is at risk as he battles sepsis, a life-threatening condition.

Jay needs our prayers and support now more than ever. His medical fund has dwindled down to just P3,000, and he requires urgent financial assistance to continue his treatment and recovery.

Please help us get his story out there. We are desperate for your support. 😭😭😭 Sharing his story is already a huge help.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND GOD BLESS! πŸ™β€οΈ

πŸ“Œ About Jay's Battle with Chronic Kidney Disease

Meet Jay, a brave young individual facing the challenges of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Secondary to Glomerulonephritis.

Jay and his family are originally from Tacloban, Philippines.

Because of the pandemic, Jay's family faced unprecedented challenges when both parents lost their jobs. Struggling to make ends meet, they relied solely on relief goods provided by the local government, consisting mainly of instant noodles and canned goods. For two long years, these were the only types of food that Jay and his family could afford, leading to nutritional deficiencies and health complications.

Tragically, Jay is not the only child from their community suffering from kidney failure. The harsh living conditions and lack of access to proper nutrition have taken a toll on the health of some children in Tacloban.

At just 14 years old, Jay's journey involves undergoing dialysis sessions three times a week, costing around 5000 pesos each week. This amount is exclusive of Jay's emergency medications whenever there are complications during his dialysis. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, Jay often misses two of these crucial sessions.

As Jay's primary caregiver, his father stands by his side every step of the way, devoting his time and energy to Jay's well-being. However, Jay's family has faced additional hardships as his mother and sister have left them, leaving his father as the sole provider and caretaker. Currently, they reside in a makeshift home on a vacant lot in Angeles City, Pampanga. They have relatives in the area but not one of them is willing to take them in as they believe Jay's illness is contagious, which is not.

Despite these hardships, Jay's resilience shines through, and our community support is more vital than ever. Together, we can make a difference in Jay's life by offering financial assistance, words of encouragement, and spreading awareness about his journey.

If you're able to lend a hand or offer support in any way, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your kindness can make a significant impact on Jay's battle against CKD.

Thank you for your consideration and support.
