I recently cared for an 8-month-old who was in critical condition because of it. It's a scary situation for any parent. Fortunately, she survived. Grandmother of my patient's years ago, had Colon Cancer Stage 2, her doctors resected the tumor & she opted to skip Chemo for personal & financial reasons. All we can do is pray for healing.The pandemic did not allow us to see each other. I missed her. Years ago she would drop by my clinic, give me her home made pitchi- pitchi and catch up. I would ask her relatives about how she was for I wanted to see her again. Days passed & suddenly I thought about her, how she was...( I have this thing that when I want to see someone, I wishfully ask) suddenly she came! She is no CANCER FREE for 7 yrs! Thank God & thank you to the good doctors who handled her.
