To my fellow Financial and Insurance Advisors,

always use the right words and right way of positioning what we’re offering.

Recently, may nakausap akong motorcycle driver habang nasa daan kami.

Bigla syang na-open na gusto sana nyang magkaroon ng insurance. May kumausap na raw sa kanya from another brand pero natakot siya nung sinabing,

“Kung mamamatay ka ngayon, ito ang maiiwan mo sa family mo.” Dito siya na-discourage na kumuha.

— Gets nya ang purpose ng insurance pero hindi nya nagustuhan ang choice of words and delivery ng advisor.

This morning, may nakita akong post.

Ang sabi doon, pag tumanggi ka sa insurance, parang tumanggi ka na rin sa financial freedom. And worst mapilitan kang ubusin ang savings mo para lang sa hospital bills.

— Gets ko ang point. Clear ang message pero gaslighting ang dating at hindi na value-adding.

Insurance is only tool to at least secure what we have including savings in case of sickness.

Pero hindi natin pwedeng sabihin na ito lang ang tanging solusyon para sa lahat.

Emergency fund, savings, insurance, investments, etc. — lahat ng ‘to part ng personal finance. Every part plays a major role.

In the end, people don’t buy insurance because of the product and/or company. They buy insurance because of you, the advisor.

Always select the right words and position what we're offering effectively. 🤍
