Story telling time:
Eyelash Extensions at Kuliti (Stye)

Patient came in to the clinic complaining of recurrent Stye. During my slit lamp assessment both eyes shows sign of inflammation (internal and external hordeolum per eye) . Kwento ng pasyente madalas po ako kulitiin Doc( and it shows) during my Meibomianography (infrared technology) show Meibomian Glands Dysfunction (MGD).
Eyelid recanalization was done.

Lesson Take away:
1. Eyelash extensions are still considered as foreign body( regardless of the glue brand)
2. Eyelid washing is very important
3. Tangalin ang mindset na kuliti lng yan

FYI
Alam nyo ba na once damage ang Meibomian Glands di na e2 nag regenerate?
